BLOODBATH
Ryan "Martini" Duncan and Bob Sky welcomed everyone to the Schmenge Brothers Polka and Bingo Hall for GCA 7: Bloodbath. It promised to be an exciting night of action as only 4 of the 8 fights on the card were tournament related. Bob Sky reminded everyone that GCA 7: Bloodbath was sponsored by Megaflex Fitness Apparel. It was time to get on with the show.
The first fight of the evening would be a Lightweight rematch from last year. Count Ronaldo Montillan would battle "Hip Hop" Dave Franklin. It was time for The Tale of the Tape. Franklin gave up 2 inches in height but had a 15 pound weight advantage. Dave was one of the heavier Lightweights. Both men were strikers and both had .500 records in The Pentagon. It was time to hear pre-recorded comments from both men.
Pre recorded Vignette
"I ain't worried about some depressed fool. I'll hit him so hard I'll make him drool. Take his damn head off...show that I'm tha cream of tha crop. I'm gonna put him in a world of danga...cuz I'm Hip Hop Dave tha Masta Gangsta!"
Pre recorded Vignette
[Translated from Italian] "I think he is a jester, a fool, but an unfunny one. He thinks that he can spout a few nursery rhymes and believe that will earn him the victory, it won't. I defeated him before, and I will do it again at Bloodbath."
It was time to go to the lovely Julia Stevenson.
"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Schmenge Brothers Polka and Bingo Hall in Melonville, USA where tonight the Global Combat Alliance along with Megaflex Fitness Apparel proudly presents to you: GCA 7: Bloodbath! We begin the evening with a Lightweight fight scheduled for 5 rounds! The referee for this fight is Jean Claude Van Damme!"
"Introducing first, he is a practicioner of 'Hip-Hop-Kido.' He stands at 5'11" and weighed in at 190 pounds. He has a GCA record of 3-3 with 3 KO. He is a former GCA DvG trophy winner and fights out of 'The Ghettos' of Mobile, Alabama, USA. he is 'Hip Hop' dave Franklin!"
The fans laughed and then booed as Hip Hop Dave Franklin came out. Bob Sky said that to the people of Melonville were used to seeing Hip Hop Dave...normally as a pro wrestler but nonetheless they didn't like him. "Gettin Jiggy Wit It" by Will Smith played as Hip Hop Dave danced toward The Pentagon with his Green Enyce brand shorts. He got into the cage was given instructions by Jean Claude.
"And his opponent. He stands at 6'1" and weighed in at 175 pounds, he is a fighter in the Kenpo discipline, he is wearing the plain black trunks and fights out of naples, Italy. With a GCA Record of 2-2 with 1 KO and 1 Stop. he is Count Ronaldo Montillan!"
The fans were a bit weirded out as Ronaldo came out with his long black hair and somewhat gothic look. Ryan Duncan was quick to point out that Count Ronaldo was nothing like Vladimir Davovitch. Count Roanldo didn't claim to be a vampire, he was just a brooding person. "May All Saints" by joy electric blasted and Ronaldo walked toward The Pentagon with his head down. He got into the cage and kept his head down even while Jean Claude was talking. Bob Sky said this would be an interesting fight.
"You Ready To Fight? Let's Do this!"
Round 1: Both men came out and it was apparent that they were both ready to strike. Count Ronaldo scord first with a nice Left Jab, Right Reverse Punch Combo. Hip Hop Dave quickly retaliated with a nice kick to the legs, a 1-2 punch combo and then a Side Thrust Kick to the body. Count Ronaldo and Hip Hop Dave looked like they may be feeling it early, Count Ronaldo faked with a kick and hit a Right Straight. They circled each other, throwing and misisng, until near the end of the round when Hip Hop Dave hit a nice Spinning Back Kick that caught Count Ronaldo in the chest and sent him reeling back. Before Hip Hop could capitalize, thge buzzer sounded to end the round.
Ryan Duncan said that Hip Hop Dave went big at the end and it payed off. Martini said that Count Roanldo looked to be worse the wear. Bob Sky said that Count Ron would have to have a big second round to answer Hip Hop Dave Franklin. The rest for the fighters ended and it was time to start the second round.
Round 2: Count Ronaldo threw a weak kick that barely grazed Hip Hop Dave. Hip Hop Dave countered with a Roundhouse Kick to the body. Dave thried to throw a Jumping Front kick, but Count Rounaldo sidestepped and came in with a hard punch to the ribs and an uppercut that connected on the chest. Dave backpedaled and went into derfensive mode, Count Roanldo tried hitting dave, but Hip Hop dodged effectively, Count Ronaldo landed a weak punch as the round ended.
Ryan Duncan said Count Ron did better in that round, but he still didn't inflict much damage. Bob Sky said that while big damage wasn't done, Count Ronaldo was wearing down Hip Hop Dave's defenses.
Round 3: Hip Hop dave came out looking to throw punches. he swung wildly, from the fences, and Count Ronaldo managed to block and avoid. Count Ronaldo then stepped in and hit a punch that nailed Dave on the chin. Hip Hop dave went down and Count Ronaldo got on him, he pounded away until Jean Claude hauled him off, Hip Hop was out!
Winner by Knock out at 0:37 of Round 3: Count Ronaldo Montillan!
Sky and Duncan said that Montillan pulled out a good win, and showed that lightning can indeed strike twice. William Hung tried to talk to Montillan, but the brooding Count left The Pentagon without saying a word, although he was friendly enough to raise a hand to the fans as he walked toward the back with his head down.
It was now time to get ready for the second rematch of the night. This would be a Heavyweight Battle between two men with no love lost. But as always, first would be the Tale of the Tape. Sky reminded everyone that The Tale of the Tape was brought by the sponsors of GCA: Bloodbath, Megaflex Fitness Apparel...Megaflex is made from a special, super spandex called "suprex." It is super stretchy for those fatties who want to embarrass themselves at the gym.
Atr 6'6" and 280 pounds, Roberts would have the size advantage in most any fight. However, in this fight he only had the height advantage, but what a height advantage, some 10 inches over Yoshi. Yoshi however had a whopping 170 pound weight advantage! Roberts wasn't know for striking while Yoshi's thrusts were what KO'ed Roberts in their first encounter. It was time for Pre-recorded comments.
Pre recorded Vignette
[Translated from Japanese] "It is interesting I would be put in a rematch against this man when I crushed him once. History will repeat itself on May 20th. Bruce Roberts will be hurt seriously, and Stefano DiMera will have to pay his hospital bills."
Pre recorded Vignette
"Yoshi is a big man, and so am I. I think this is why GCA likes putting us together. I know the fans will enjoy the fight, and I know I will. I lost to him before, but my technique has gotten better. Like I said, we're both big men, difference is that I'm big with muscle, not flab. You'll see the difference in the Polka and Bingo Hall."
Ryan Duncan said that it sounded like these two wanted to go at each other. Now it was time to go to The Pentagon with Julia Stevenson.
"The next fight of the evening is a Heavyweight fight! Introducing first, he is a Sumo fighter from Kobe, Japan! He stands at 5'8" and he weighed in at 450 pounds! He represents The White Dragon Dojo and has a GCA record of 1-1 with 1 KO. he is "The Sumo King" Yoshi Irizawa!"
"The Latest and the Last" by Demon Hunter played as Yoshi came out. The fans in Melonville reacted to his immense proportions. He got into The Pentagon and took off his kimono to reveal his sumo thong. Bob Sky's disgust could be heard as he spoke. Ryan Duncan said that Yoshi couldn't be called "Yokozuna." Bob Sky said it was probably because WWE would sue GCA for use of a term they used on TV. Ryan laughed and said that Yoshi was on his way to becoming a Yokozuna when he was banned from the Shinto community, thus the term could not be used legitamately by him.
"And his opponent. He stands at 6'6" and weighed in at 282 pounds. He is a Shootfighter from Boston, MA, USA. He is a member of The Shooters and has a GCA record of 2-4 with 2 submissions. He is "Big Train" Bruce Roberts!"
The fans cheered as Roberts came out to "Crush 'em" by Megadeth. he walked into The Pentagon and Bob Sky said he looked hungry. Steven Seagal gave them their orders and then got ready to start the fight.
"You ready? BRING THE PAIN!"
Round 1: Roberts charged out immediately and hit a Hard Tackle that knocked Yoshi down! Roberts got on top and started throwing hard lefts and rights that opened cuts on Yoshi's face! Seagal was about to jump in when Yoshi used his weight advantage to buck Roberts off. Yoshi got to his feet and looked hurt. Roberts stepped in but Yoshi managed to clinch with the Big Train, hitting a Foot Stomp. Roberts then put a little space between them and hit a decent hook to the body. Yoshi bridged the gap again with a clinch and Sky said it looked like Yoshi was trying to buy time to recover. Both men stayed in the clinch and traded shots to the body as the round came to a close.
Ryan was still in shock over that tackle. Sky said that the best way to describe it would be a "Spear." Ryan said moves like that were hard to pull off ina real fight, but since Roberts was a lot lighter, he could hit Yoshi a lot easier.
Round 2: Irizawa came out looking a little better and managed to get in a couple of chops. He then tried a weak looking kick, Roberts evaded with ease and tried a takedown, but Yoshi's weight was too much. Roberts then backed up and threw a nice kick to the leg. Yoshi trieds charging in, trying to push Roberts against the Cage, byt Bruce wanted no part of it. Roberts dodged, bobbed and stuck jabs to Yoshi when he could. The round ended with bruce looknig fresher and Yoshi's cuts slightly reopened.
Ryan said that a massacre could develop if Yoshi can't mount a sizeable offense. Sky said that Roberts looked to have improved since his GCA tour of duty last year.
Round 3: Irizawa looked to have a little of his game plan work for him as he plowed ahead with repeated palm strikes and pushed Roberts up against the Cage. Sky said that Yoshi wanted to smother him. However, once on the Cage, Roberts managed to tie up the arms of Irizawa and exerted his strength to keep Irizawa from doing anything, then in a shocker, Roberts used a leg trip to take Irizawa down! The fans were on their feet as Skty said that landing may have been awkward for Yoshi. Roberts then grabbed the leg of Yoshi and tried clamping on an Ankle Lock! Roberts almost had it secured when Yoshi slipped his leg out at the last second. Sky said that was because of the sweat, otherwise the fight would have been over. Roberts got back to his feet and Yoshi got up. he limped a little and Ryan said the fall must have injured the ankle somehow, because of the extreme weight. Yoshi manged to grab Bruce and deliver some elbow strikes as the round ended.
Ryan Duncan said that was starting to turn ugly. Bob Sky said that Yoshi looked to be in discomfort as his corner was working on his ankle.
Round 4: The round started, and Roberts came out with a smile. he threw a Hard leg Kick that hit Yoshi. The fans reacted as Roberts threw a second, a third and the 4th kick on the bad leg caused Yoshi to go down! Roberts got on top and started wailing away with HARD elbow shots! Yoshi's face was stained with his blood and some blood even splattered into the camera! Roberts was a machine and for the second time seagal was about to stop it when Yoshi reached up, grabbed Roberts and pulled him close. Yoshi then used his weight to roll over and get on top. Roberts had an Open Guard, and Ryan said that Yoshi was too big to have a Closed Guard on so this was the best defense Roberts had. Yoshi lay on top, trying to smother Roberts and Roberts was firing shot from below. Sky said not much damage would occur under normal circumstances, but with the shape Yoshi was in, perhaps any shot would hurt now. Ryan said it was a brutal scene before them, with blood streaming from Yoshi's nose onto Roberts' chest. Yoshi landed some chops to the body as Roberts had his face guarded. that's how the round went, with Yoshi landing weak body shots and Roberts firing weak shots from the bottom. The round ended and Ryan hoped his brother, Dr Bryan Duncan would stop the fight.
Dr Bryan Duncan got into the cage and looked over Yoshi, the corner cleaned up the blood on his face and Bryan nodded that the fight could go on. The fans cheered as Seagal started the final round.
Round 5: Yoshi came out and tried to throw palm strikes, Roberts easily got through them and threw hard punches. He knocked Yoshi down with a hard Left Hook and a kick to the bad leg of Irizawa. Yoshi went back down and was bloodied again. Roberts wasted no time and took advantage of the dazed Irizawa, he grabbed the bad ankle and applied a Heel Hook! Yoshi screamed in pain and had no choice but to tap!
Winner by Submission at 0:50 of Round 5: "Big Train" Bruce Roberts!
The fans cheered and Bruce basked in the adulation, he then checked on Yoshi. Ryan Duncan said that Yoshi looked to be in serious pain. In fact, a small forklift was brought out and Yoshi has to be taken out on that. Ryan said Bruce was in good form. It was time to go to William Hung in the Pentagon.
"Booce! Booce! Howy Cwap! You knocked the stuffen owta eem! How do you fweel?
"I feel good, and bad. It's great to get a win over Yoshi, he's a tough fighter.
I feel bad that it looks like he may be hurt, I never want to injure anybody. I don't have any vendettas against anyone, no matter how much the fans may want to see me hurt them. This is my job, my livelihood and my passion. Thanks to Stefano DiMera for giving me the chance to do what I love."
"You nice guy Booce. Now twell us, who you tink gonna ween Heavyweight title?"
"You know...I'm going with Dan Howards, he is tearing it up and on a roll. I know Kindred is as well, and I think those two will fight in the end with Dan getting the duke."
"Wadies and gentlemwen, Booce Woberts!"
The fans cheered Bruce as he went out of the Cage. Ryan said that he was a class act, as was Dan Howards. Bob Sky said The Shooters were improving greatly. It was now time to get on with the show. The next fight promised to be good as Chan Po wa would meet "Dr Death" Tyson McDermott.
It was time for The Tale of the Tape, brought to you by Megaflex Fitness Apparel. The height difference was nominal, and at 194 pounds, Chan Po Wa was one of the heavier Lightweights. Styles make fights and this fight was nicely made. Tyson was into Aikido and Chan Po Wa was Shaolin with a great knowledge of Kung Fu. Now we were going to hear pre-recorded comments from both fighters.
Pre recorded Vignette
[Translated from Cantonese] "I am looking forward to fighting in GCA again. It is going to be a good night for me, I respect my opponent, but I do not feel his chi is in alignment. My chi is strong and I am Shaolin. Buddha's name be praised, I wish no harm on my opponent, but I will do what I must to win."

[Irish Accent] "Tha fewl really thinks ee cen bea me noo? He can use all the Chop Suuey ee wants but t'wont git hem anywheres. Tha Huligans are going to pick up where we laft off, takin names and kickin arses. I'm startin wit 'is!"
Bob Sky said he wondered if Chan Po Wa's Shaolin philosphy would really work in The Pentagon. It was time to go to Julia Stevnson.
"The next fight is a Lightweight fight and is scheduled for 5 rounds. Making his way to The Pentagon first: He is a Shaolin Kung Fu fighter who stands at 5'8" and weighed in at 193 pounds. He has a GCA Record of 1-0 with 1 KO and is a member of Jing Wu. Fighting out of Beijing, China, he is Chan Po Wa!"
"Mortal Kombat Theme (Encounter the Ultimate)" by the Immortals played and the fans were cheering as Chan Po Wa came out in his black Gi Pants. He got into The Pentagon, looking serene as he took his right fist, placed it against his left hand and bowed in respect to the fans.
"And his opponent. He stands at 5'9 1/2" and weighed in at 180 pounds. He is fighting out of Dublin, Ireland and is a member of the Hooligans. He has a GCA Record of 2-3 with 1 KO and 1 Stop. He is an Aikido fighter dressed in the Green, Orange and White trunks. He is "Doctor Death" Tyson McDermott!"
"Fire" by Scooter played as Tyson came out. He entered The Pentagon and Chan Po Wa bowed to him. Tyson responded with the Finger!
"You Ready To Fight? Let's Do this!"
Round 1: Chan Po Wa threw out a weak punch that Tyson caught, tyson threw Chan Po wa down with a Rolling Throw. Chan Po wa got up as Tyson mocked him. Chan Po wa then faked a Left Low kick, Tyson brought his hand down to block it and Chan came up instead with a Jumping Right Kick that nailed Tyson full on the chin. Tyson was kncoked on his back and was out!
Winner by KO at 1:05 of Round 1: Chan Po Wa!
Ryan Duncan and Bob Sky said that was a sensational KO and proof that Kung Fu still has use today! Chan Po Wa waved to the favs, bowed to the fallen Dr Death and left The Pentagon.
Bob Sky said they were just about at the halfway point and so far GCA was living up to its name...it was indeed a Bloodbath. Ryan "Martini" Duncan reminded everyone that GCA 7: Bloodbath was brought to you by Megaflex Fitness Apparel...fitness apparel for the morbidly obese.
Ryan Duncan said it was time to get to the next fight, "The Assassin" Andrei Valimov would face The Electric Joy Boy. First it was time for the Tale of The Tape. EJB had a couple of inches in the height department and had some 45 pounds plus in weight advantage. Andrei was a deadly striker with a perfect record and EJB, despite his size advantages, was struggling in The Pentagon. Ryan said they were going to view pre-recorded comments.
Pre recorded Vignette
[Translated from Russian] "I face the Electric Joy boy at Bloodbath? This is a joke right? I am 4-0, one of the best records in this organization. I should have been in the Heavyweight tournament but was overlooked. I can accept that, as I know that means I'll be a top contender after it's over. What I cannot accept is fighting this hulk of idiocy! What kind of stupid name is Electric Joy Boy? Is he a homosexual? All I know is that I have been training with Alexi and then Kindred and I have been talking a lot. He has told me all I need to know about this Boy's weaknesses. I will represent myself and my team well. EJB, you will never get another fight with Kindred, because after you fight me, you will run with your tail between your legs into a retirement home."
Pre recorded Vignette
"I am going to rip his [bleep]-ing head off!"
Everyone in the building reacted with cheers and "OOOOOHs." Bob Sky said this fight could personify the theme for the night, Marytini said he couldn't wait, it was time to get to Julia Stevenson!
"Ladies and gentlemen, GCA: Bloodbath continues as our next fight is in the Heavyweight Division! The referee for this fight is Steven Seagal. Coming to the Cage first: he stands at 6'1 1/2" and weighed in at 217 pounds. He is an expert in Da Dao Karate and has a GCA record of 4-0 with 3 KO and 1 Referee Stoppage. He is a member of The Embraced and will be wearing the Red Gi with Black belt. Fighting out of St. Petersburg, Russia he is "The Assassin" Andrei Valimov!"
The fans in Melonville were on their feet booing as Andrei Valimov came out with The Embraced teammate, Kindred while Pantera's "Walk" blasted. Ryan Duncan coiuldn't help but chuckle as he talked about the history between EJB and Kindred, and now that history which started in pro wrestling was affecting GCA fighters. Valimov looked confident as he ignored the fans. Bob Sky said Valimov was overlooked in the heavyweight Tournament, but said Andrei was right, he would be a top contender after the title was decided. A win over EJB would almost be a lock.
The booing changed to roars of adulation as "Wherever I May Roam" by metallica played. EJB stepped out into the aisle wearing his "Buzz" jersey and holding up a Bottle of Molson Canadian! Sky said Molson wasn't a sponsor, but no one tried to get it away from The Electric Joy Boy, who refrained from using his real name anymore in GCA. EJB took a long chug of his beer and entered The Pentagon as he removed his jersey to reveal his monstrous physique. Ryan Duncan said it looked like his wrestling entrance, but this wasn't a pro wrestling match. Sky said if EJB got his hands on Valimov, Andrei could be in trouble, as EJB would have the definitive ground advantage.
"You ready? BRING THE PAIN!"
The fans were chanting "EJB" as Martini said: "There will be Pain in this fight Mr Seagal!"
Round 1: EJB stormed in, Valimov anticipated it and dodged, as he did so he threw a High Kick that nailed EJB in the head and knocked him out!
Winner by KO at 0:08 of Round 1: "The Aassassin" Andrei Valimov!
The fans stopped in their tracks as they copuldn't believe it, Anbdrei and Kindred started laughing and the booing resumed with chants of "Bull----!" from the fans. Ryan Duncan that was probbaly the fastest Knockout in GCA history. Bob Sky said it was almost unbelievable. Never would he have thought the fight would end this fast. William Hung walked into The Pentagon bug-eyed as Kindred took the mic from him, asked Valimov an inaudible question and then spoke into the mic.
"I know you all have questions, and Valimov's translator can't be here, so I asked him to make a statement about this fight. He said that he wanted to show that EJB was a joke and he did so. he also wanted to show that The Embraced are the most dominant team in GCA and he did so. He also wanted to show he was Heavyweight Champion material and he did so."
"I gave him tips on how to fight EJB and they obviously paid off...The Embraced will FEED!"
The fans booed again as Kindred handed the mic back to a silent William Hung and then Kindred spat on the unconscious EJB as Dr Sheridan was tending to him! Andrei and Kindred left, then EJB was carried out on a stretcher.
Ryan Duncan said that now they were into the High Card, and all 4 fights would be Tournament fights. The first would be Mong Boo going head to head with Declan MacIntosh. But first, as always, The Tale of the Tape brought to you by GCA 7: Bloodbath sponsor, Megaflex Fitness Apparel.
These two were evenly matched in size, Declan was one inch taller and Mong Boo was 4 pounds heavier. The question would be who would get their game plan to work? This would be grappler against striker, historically the advantage went to grapplers but Mong Boo was one of the most dangerous strikers around, would it be enough to defeat the former GCA Lightweight Champion?. It was time to go "The Siren" Julia Stevenson.
"Our next fight this evening is the first Lightweight Title Tournament Semi Final match! It is scheduled for 5 rounds and the referee for this fight will be Jean Claude Van Damme!"
"Introducing first, he is a Muay Thai expert from Bangkok, Thailand. He stands at 5'10" and weighed in at 176 pounds. He has a GCA record of 3-0 with 3 KO. He is "Phenomenal" Mong Boo!"
The fans cheered as Mong Boo came out in his Blue Boxing Style trunks with red trim. "Autopsy" by Zao played. Mong Boo got into the Cage, threw some punches and kicks and then waited.
"And his opponent, he stands at 5'11" and weighed in at 172 pounds. He is a Judo fighter fighting out of Edinburugh, Scotland. He is a member of The Highlanders and has a GCA Record of 5-0 with 2 KO and 3 Referee Stoppages. He is the former GCA Lightweight champion, presenting "Scottish pride" Declan MacIntosh!"
The fans were on their feet cheering loudly as a Bagpipe track started to play. Declan came out with Duncan and Nelson, his teammates in the Highlanders. He entered The Pentagon with his kilt still on. Jean Claude got the fighters in position and started the fight.
"You Ready To Fight? Let's Do this!"
Round 1: They met in the middle and Declan immediately scored with a nice Ohsoto Throw that took Mong Boo down, however, before Declan could get situated, Mong Boo used his speed and slipped away, getting back to his feet. Mong Boo fired a weak leg kick and then backed away. Sky said Boo was doing a good job of evading Declan's Judo Slams and Takedowns. Declan went for the shot but Mong Boo evaded and threw a nice kick at the ribs. Mong Boo then used his speed advnatage to move around The pentagon, throwing out quick jabs when he had a chance. The buzzer went off and the round was over.
Ryan Duncan said that Mong Boo was probably ahead on points but he didn't have an advantage. Bob Sky said that both fighters respected the other's skill. Boo wasn't taking the ground game lightly and Declan wasn't underestimating Mong Boo Knockout power.
Round 2: The round started off with Declan getting a very nice Inside Leg trip and following up with a couple of hard elbow shots. Mong Boo used his leg strength to push Declan off and scrambled to his feet. He hit a couple of hard Roundhouse Kicks to the body and forced Declan back. Declan went in for the shot and Mong Boo kept his base, he got Declan in a Muay Thai clinch then hit a viscious Jumping Double Knee that hit Declan in the face! Declan dropped to his knees, Mong Boo released the clinch and Declan fell, he was out!
Winner by KO at 1:19 of Round 2: "Phenomenal" Mong Boo!
Both Sky and Martini Duncan were impressed by the display of Mong Boo. declan was a former Lightweight champion and a very dangerous man. Mong Boo was dangerous too but Decan was the favorite due to the ground skills. Ryan Duncan said that in GCA, nothing is guarenteed despite a fighter's credentials. Bob Sky said that Mong Boo could very well be the best pound for pound fighter in GCA.
It was time for the other Semi Final Fight in the Lightweight Title Tournament. It would be "Rather Studly" Mike Burnett going against esteban Suave, the other former Lightweight Champ. Now we would see The Tale of the Tape, brought to you by Megaflex Fitness Apparel. "Exercise gear for the morbidly obese."
Esteban Suave had the height advantage and a 4 pound weight advantage. Burnett was a striker with a Judo backgorund and esteban was Brazilian Ju Jitsu to the core. Esteban advanced by winning a decision in a hard fought match with Alexi Natamenchu while Burnett had a strikefest with Koji Yamasuka, winning by Referee Stoppage (TKO). It would be hard to say if there was a decided advantage. It was time to get the fighter's thoughts on how this would turn out.
Pre recorded Vignette
"This is huge for me people, I'm going to go in there and I'm going to kick his arse! He thinks he can take me down and submit me, but let me tell ya, I'm going to show him otherwise! It's going to be a wild ride and I will come out on top in this one. Esteban...you're in my way and I'm going to knock you out! Your face is ugly now, but wait until I have a few smacks at it, you'll look like a mole!"
Pre recorded Vignette
[Translated from Porteguese] "I am Esteban Suave, I say that a lot, but it seems no one understands what it means. I will tell you all, because you Americans need a reminder, and you Mr Burnett need a reminder. I am Esteban Suave, and to be Esteban means several things. First, it means that you are the Sexiest man in GCA. I hear the women in stands scream when they see my face and my sexy body. Are you Esteban Suave? No, that means you aren't as sexy as me because I am Esteban Suave. Second, to be Esteban Suave means that you are the best in GCA. Are you the best Mr Burnett? No, because you aren't Esteban Suave, I am Esteban Suave. Lastly, to be Esteban Suave means that you are a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu star who will hold the GCA Lightweight Title at the end of the tournament. I do not need to remind you for a third time that you are not Esteban Suave. I am, and that means I will hold the title while you hold a towel to cry into."
Ryan "Martini" Duncan said that this one was going to be fun to watch, but brutal to be in. It was time to get the ball rolling with Julia Stevenson.
"Ladies and gentlmen, this is the last Semi Final Fight in the GCA Lightweight title tounrament. The refrree for this fight is Jean Claude Van Damme. Making his way to The Pentagon first: He is a Shotokan Karate and Judo fighter. He stands at 5'11" and weighed in at 180 pounds. Fighting out of Toronto, Ontario, Canada with a GCA Record of 2-3 with 1 Submission and 1 Referee Stoppage, he is 'Rather Studly' Mike Burnett!"
"No Leaf Clover" by Metallica started to play as Mike Burnett came out to cheers. Bob Sky said in the NHL, Mike's former team, the Leafs didn't make the playoffs, but Mike was in the "Confernece Final" so to speak. Mike entered The Pentagon and removed his Leafs jersey and his track pants revealing Blue Spandex Trunks with a White Leaf on the butt.
"And his opponent. He is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu fighter hailing from Rio De Jinero, Brasil. He stands at 6'2" and weighed in at 184 pounds. He has a GCA Record of 3-2 with 1 Submission, 1 Referee Stoppage and 1 Decision. He is a former GCA Lightweight champion. He is Esteban Suave!"
"I'm Too Sexy" by Right Said Fred played and the fans booed as Esteban came out shaking his rump. The camera got a closeup of the Red Heart on the back of Esteban's trunks and Bob Sky made a joke about himself going blind. Estaben got into the Pentagon and waved to the fans who booed him. He shrugged it off and got ready for battle.
"You Ready To Fight? Let's Do this!"
Round 1: Mike Burnett came out and although Esteban immediately tried for the shot, Mike did a great job defending it and landing some punches to the face. Esteban then managed to do a Self-Takedown which resulted in Burnett being on top but in Esteban's Closed Guard. Ryan Duncan reminded everyone that Suave was more comfortable on his back than Burnett and could make the position work. Mike got in some weak shots as Esteban and Mike grappled, Mike looking for the opening for ground and pound, and Esteban trying to tie up an arm for the submission. Esteban then placed his foot on Mike's leg, shifted his weight, turned to the side, and ended on top! Mike tried to cover up but Esteban got some punches in. Mike then bucked and manged to turn back to the side, both men got to their feet and Mike connected with a Hook Kick to the body. The buzzer ended as the fans were cheering.
As both fighters were tended to by their corners, Bob Sky said that this was turning into a great fight very quickly. Ryan Duncan said that Burnett was doing a good job against Suave.
Round 2: Mike came out and threw some more quick jabs to the face, Suave responded with leg kicks, trying to take down the base of Mike who clearly had the striking advantage. Mike then faked a kick and came in with an uppercut that caught Esteban! Esteban was cut badly and ended up on his back! Burnett got on top of Esteban and started throwing down HARD elbows to the face, messing up Esteban even more! Referee Jean Claude Van Damme saw that Esteban was still able to fight and let it go as Esteban pulled Mike close and was able to show he was still capable of defense. The camera got a close up of esteban's face, bruises were forming quickly and blood was pouring down from his nose. Mike made the mistake of keeping his arms down and Esteban countered with a Double Arm Bar! Mike looked like he was in pain but Bob Sky said it probably wasn't applied deeply enough to end the fight. Esteban then reliquenshed the hold and kept Mike close, preventing any punches inside the Guard. Esteban then Swept again and ended up in Mount! Instead of going to punches, esteban grabbed an arm and locked in a very tight Kimura! Sky said that Esteban had it, and Mike's screams were proof. Duncan said if Mike didn't tap, an arm or the elbow would be broken, however...the Buzzer sounded and the fans let out a collective "Whew."
Duncan said that the Kimura damaged Mike, Esteban probably had a broken nose and this was only in 2 rounds! Sky said that instead of a great fight this was quickly becoming a war.
Round 3: Esteban Suave came out with a nice Single Leg Takedown and got into Half Guard. He threw some punches that connected but nothing with too much heat behind them. Esteban then got out of Half Guard and into Full Mount, hitting some good elbows to the forehead of Burnett, cutting him open. Jean Claude stopped the fight and got Dr. Sheridan to look at the cut. Dr. Sheridan gave the ok for the fight to continue and they restarted back in Mount. Mike grabbed Esteban's head and held him close, forcing Jean Claude to stand them back up. Esteban tried for a tackle but Burnett engaged with a beautiful sprawl to defend. Mike then grabbed Esteban and Slammed him to the ground with a hybrid of a Shoulder Throw and a Greco Roman Suplex! esteban landed hard and looked dazed! Burnett mounted and landed two hard right hand shots before Esteban could grab the wrists and keep Burnett's offense immobilized until the round was over.
Bob Sky said he noticed Mike wasn't using his left hand a lot, even the slam on Esteban made Mike grimace. Ryan "Martini" Duncan said that Esteban needs to apply another hold to that arm to end the fight, and it has to happen soon because Burnett is doing a lot of damage.
Round 4: Burnett came out and threw a Front Kick that caught Esteban in the chest. esteban grimaced and stumbled back, Burnett charged in but Esteban got a hold of Burnett, took him down and tried to apply an Armbar! It looked like Mike was caught when he slipped his arm out! Martini said it was due to the sweat from both fighters. If Burnett was wearing a Gi, it would've been over. Mike pulled Guard and blocked most of Esteban's offense, the only shots Esteban was landing were short punches to the ribs. Esteban tried for a Kimura when Burnett placed his legs on Esteban's knees and pushed himself out. He got to his feet and landed a Hard Right Hook followed by a Right Side Thrust Kick that drove Esteban back. Esteban held his ribs and looked to be in pain. Both men circled each other, pain and fatigue obvious. Mike threw out some Leg Kicks as the round drew to a close.
Ryan Duncan said that Mike Burnett had the advantage, but needed to end it soon. Bob Sky disagreed and said that Esteban would take the win because Burnett wasn't going to end it. Both men agreed that both men were in bad shape and that the victory came with a high price.
Round 5: The final round started with the fans on their feet and cheering. Mike and Esteban touched gloves for the first time in the fight, showing mutual respect. The pain on their faces said it all as Esteban looked more like a mess, but Mike's left arm was down. Esteban took advantage by throwing some jabs that Mike couldn't block, so Mike backed up. Esteban came in and got a Looping Right while Burnett responded by getting fired up and hitting a Hook Combo to the ribs of Esteban! esteban withdrew quickly, cuts reopened on his face and he shot in. he pushed Mike against the fence, kneed Mike in the stomach and applied a Guillotine Choke as Burnett bent over! Sky said that was the end right there. The fans reacted in amazement as Burnett, with what appeared to be his last ounces of strength, grabbed Esteban by the legs, lifted him up, and slammed him while falling to the side. Esteban's head rubbed along the mesh of the cage and hit the mat! The Choke was released and Burnett got on top of Esteban, pounding away! Esteban's corner threw in the towel and Jean Claude stopped the fight with just 10 seconds left!
Winner by Referee Stoppage at 4:50 of Round 5: "Rather Studly" Mike Burnett
Both commentators were silent, Burnett couldn't stand on his own long enough for Jean Claude to raise his hand. Esteban was put on a stretcher and carried out, with Dr Sheridan looking after him. Dr. Bryan Duncan accompanied Burnett's Corner, who helped Mike stay up until his hand was raised, Burnett was then placed on a stretcher as well. Dr Duncan accompanied Burnett and Ryan said that was without a doubt, the most brutal bout in GCA history. Bob Sky said he was scared to see a rematch. Martini said that this was indeed a Bloodbath, and that he was just informed that Esteban Suave, Mike Burnett and Yoshi Irizawa would be taken to Melonville Generic Hospital. Dr Sheridan would be going with them while Dr Duncan would remain at ringside to oversee the last two fights.
And what great match ups they were. The Heavyweight Semis were coming up. Dan Howards, Walt Peterson, Vladimir Davovitch and Andrew Woods would be the four men, after these two fights, it would be down to two.
Coming up next, it would be a ground battle as "Primetime" Walt Peterson would fight "Heavy Hittin" Dan Howards. It was time for The Tale of the Tape, brought to you by Megaflex Fitness Apparel.
It was close, Peterson had a 2 inch height advantage and Howards was 9 pounds heavier. Walt was also a Kickboxer who had the definite striking advantage. Howards had the ground advantage and had 6th in Martial Combat's Kenya League. Walt Peterson was #7 in China. It would be one month ago exactly since Walt laid his wife to rest, and it was apparrent in some of his MC fights...he won big time over Dolemite, would he be able to focus on Howards? It was time to hear comments from both fighters.
Pre recorded Vignette
"Well, I have a very tough opponent ahead of me. Dan Howards cannot have enough good things said about him, I really mean that. Dan is a great fighter and I respect him a lot. He spends a lot of time in Africa fighting and he's good, he was tearing up Martial Combat with a great win streak last month. He even beat the man who introduced me to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in a great fight. However Dan, I am not Cesar, it will be a different fight this time. You see, I am a ground fighter, but I am also just as comfortable with Stand up. My Kickboxing has not been compromised and my win over Dolemite showed that. So I can hang on the ground with you, but I can keep it standing if I want. My will is going to be imposed, you better brace yourself for the fight of your life."
"Things are interesting to say the last. Walt Peterson had a great win last month via knockout and his fight against me takes place on the one month anniversary of his wife's funeral. I had a win by Submission over his old mentor. The drama is in place nicely for a great fight. Walt is good, he's been improving a lot on the ground and he'll be a good competitor by the time he's done. However, I don't wish to sound arrogant, but I am better on the ground. Walt has the advantage on the feet, I give him that, but he can't expect to keep it on the feet. This fight will go to the ground, and Walt may be able to pull guard and hang in there, but that's all he'll do. If God is willing, at the end of the night, it'll be my hand raised and my name on the card for the Heavyweight Title Tournament Finals."
Martini Duncan wondered if Tina was still in Walt's head, after all, he was still fighting after she died without a break. Bob Sky said that it could be a factor affecting his concentration, but he couldn't say for sure. Sky said that if walt was going to The Pentagon against Howards, he better bring 100%. Martini said it was time to go to Julia Stevenson.
"This is the first Semi Final fight in the GCA Heavyweight Title Tournament. The referee for this fight will be Steven Seagal. Introducing first: He stands at 6'4" and weighed in at 230 pounds. He is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Fighter and Kickboxer with a GCA record of 3-3 with 3 KO. He is a member of the Belfonta Top Team and fights out of Las Vegas, Nevada. He is "Primetime" Walt Peterson!
"The Epigone" by Becoming the Archtype played as the fans stood and cheered for Peterson. Sky said that Walt was no stranger to Melonville thanks to EEWF, EIWF and GCA. Walt slapped hands with the fans and got into the Cage where he removed his GCA t-shirt and was in his ring attire of standard black MMA trunks.
"And his opponent, he stands at 6'2" and weighed in at 245 pounds. He is a Shootfighter with a GCA record of 2-2 with 1 Submission and 1 Referee Stoppage. He hails out of Cleveland, Ohio and is a member of The Shooters. He is "Heavy Hittin" Dan Howards!"
"Coat of Arms" by Lengsel played as Howards came out in a boxing robe. He walked down to The Pentagon and entered. He went to his corner, knelt, said a quick prayer and took off the robe to show off his green wrestling shorts and black knee pads. Sky chuckled as he said that Walt was a former pro wrestler, but Howards looked like the wrestler and Walt looked like the fighter. Seagal gave them instructions and was ready to begin.
"You ready? BRING THE PAIN!"
Round 1: Both men met in the middle and tapped gloves. Sky said this was going to be good as there were no harsh feelings and this would be about skill. Peterson started it off with a nice Roundhouse Kick to the legs that caught Howards off guard, peterson followed up with a quick Double Leg that sent Howards down. Howards quickly got Closed Guard and buried Walt's head into his chest. Walt threw punches at Dan's ribs to try to loosen up Dan's grip but Howards held on fast. Walt threw weak hammer fists but Howards absorbed them easily. Martini said Howards was donig a great job of defense, Sky said that Walt was getting more points on the Scorecard though because he was the aggressor. Seagal got them back on their feet and the clinched. Walt threw a nice knee to the stomach and they jostled for position. Howards managed to get Walt pushed against the fence and threw short body shots as the first round came to a close.
Ryan Duncan said that both men weren't taking a lot of chances in the first round, that was probably due to the mutual respect. Bob Sky said that once the feeling out process was over, it would be explosive.
Round 2: Howards came out and hit a weak punch to the body. He then followed up by charging ahead and pushing Walt against the fence again. Dan then went low, hooked the legs and pulled them out from under Walt. Dan got on Walt and started throwing punches as Peterson tried to cover up. Dan hit Walt with some hard shots, producing some blood around the mouth. Walt then grabbed Dan's leg and hooked in an Achilles Tendon Hold! Dan slipped out of it and got to his feet, as he did so, Walt came in with a wild left hand that caught Dan on the head! Dan went down and as Walt mounted, the buzzer went off!
The fans let out a collective groan. Sky said that both men had opportunities to do some damage, but Walt seemed closer to capitalizing. Martini wondered what the outcome would have been if 10 more seconds had been on the clock
Round 3: The round started off with both fighters tapping gloves again, the respect was obvious. Dan got Walt down with a Shot and Walt got a High Guard. Martini said the flexibility from Jiu-Jitsu and Kickboxing was impressive. Dan was high up, trying to punch and Walt grabbed an arm, got his legs in position and almost clamped on Walt's favorite move, the Triangle Choke! Howards escaped danger quickly and motioned for Walt to get up. Walt got to his feet and Martini said this was a mistake for Howards. Howards threw a 1-2 combo that grazed Walt. Howards then faked a punch and threw a kick. it connected and Howards clinched with walt. They jockeyed for position and Howards got a nice trip slam on Walt. Walt pulled Half Guard and kept Howards there until the round ended.
Bob Sky said that these two were fighting like they knew each other. Both were coming close to being in advantageous spots, and this fight wouldn't go the distance.
Round 4: Dan Howards hit Walt with a hard tackle and tried to get an Armbar, he has it almost cinched in when Walt managed to get the arm out, but then Dan mounted Walt and threw some HARD Hammer Fists! Walt managed to sweep and he got back to his feet. Howards was up and Walt got into Kickboxing stance. He threw a Left-Right-Left Right Punch Combo and followed it up with a Right Roundhouse Kick. The punches missed but the Kick connected. Walt then shot in and pushed Dan against the fence. Walt had his head down and Howards took advantage. As Walt tried to get at Dan's legs, Dan locked in a Guillotine Choke! Walt got Dan down on his back with his head against the fence, but Dan closed up Guard and cranked on the Choke, Walt had no choice but to tap!
Winner by submission at 2:57 of Round 4: "Heavy Hittin" Dan Howards!
Ryan Duncan said that was a good fight that provided some great action. Sky praised Walt and Dan as they embraced after the fight. It was time for William Hung to get into The Pentagon, since neither Esteban or Mike could be interviewed, William would interview both fighters starting with the winner.
"Ok, I'm heer wif Dan Howads, Dan, what you say about that fight?"
"First off I want to thank my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for His protection. It was a good fight, Walt presented some challenges, as I expected, his ground game has improved a lot. His striking is excellent, tonight I was just a little bit better and I'm pleased about this win."
"Now you go to Finels! You have pwediction about who win between Kindwed and Andew?"
"Woods is a former GCA Heavyweight Champion with a commanding record and is fearless. Vladi is a tough man who has been on a slump in Martial Combat and I'm sure wants to turn it around with a win in The Pentagon. My prediction will be an awesome fight for the great GCA fans here in Melonville and watching on PPV!"
"Awwight! Tanks dan. Now I twak to Walt Petersan. Walt, how you feel?"
"Obviously I'm disapppointed. I wanted to go to the Heavyweight Title fight, I also wanted to win in front of the fans here at Melonville. I feel the same way about Melonville, Montreal and Vegas the same way Ric Flair feels about Charlotte, Greensboro and Raliegh. However, Dan caught me with the Guillotine, I have nothing to be ashamed of, I just go back, study the tape and try harder the next time I step in here."
"I know that dis one monf ago dat you bury your wife Tina Chan, did that have a wole in your woss? You had a tough monf in MC."
"I'm not going to do that. It'd be easy to say this and that because of Tina...but everytime I step into a MC ring, or into the GCA Pentagon, it's because I want to. It's my choice and I'm not going to blame failure on any kind of mental stress. I miss my wife incredibly, but the pain goes away when I step in here. Like I said, fighting it how I'll mourn, and I'm not blaming anything on my losses. The only reason I lost against Howards was due to my lack of skill compared to his. But I'll be ready next time."
Ryan Duncan and Bob Sky praised Walt for his honesty and for being a man to admit defeat. Sky said that now Howards was gonig to the finals and that he would fight one of the two men left. The question would be settled with the next fight. Vladimir "Kindred" Davovitch would battle "The One Man Army" Andrew Woods. It was time for The Tale of The Tape, brought to you by the sponsor of GCA 7: Bloodbath; Megaflex Fitness Apparel.
On paper, this looked like a severe mismatch. Woods was 6 inches shorter and 65 pounds lighter! However, one thing Andrew Woods displayed, that was a lot of Skill and Heart. He was a very impressive Street Fighter who had great submissions. His 5-0 record consists of 2 KO, 2 Submissions and 1 Referee Stoppage. His victims were Dave Franklin, Lucien Belanger, Nick Johnson, Curtis vector and the first GCA Heavyweight Champion, Fritz Kohler. It was the win over Kohler that gave Woods the GCA Heavyweight Championship. His last fight was a First Round KO over Vector.
Vladimir "Kindred" Davovitch was a changed man since his GCA stint last year. He went 1-3 in GCA but because of what he attributes to becomnig a vampyre again, Kindred was on a tear in MC, winning the Peru Title in early may and at GCA 6 he made Fritz Kohler tap out with a nicely executed Can Opener Neck Crank. If anyone could beat Woods, it would be the new and improved Kindred. It was time to hear what the fighters had to say...
Pre recorded Vignette

"Now the time for feeding is upon us once again. I made an example out of one former Champion, now I'll get the other. Andrew Woods, I will taste your pain and feed off your anguish. I will take you down and I will break your legs! Then as you lay screaming, I will split you open and taste your blood as it flows from your wounds and onto The Pentagon floor!"
It was time to go to Julia Stevenson.
"Ladies and gentlemen, this is the last fight of GCA 7: Bloodbath! It is the last Semi Final Fight for the GCA Heavyweight Title Tournament. It is scheduled for 5 rounds. the referee is Steven seagal and the judges as always, are Adam West, Chuck Norris and Billy Blanks. "
"Coming to The Pentagon first, he stands at 5'11" and weighed in at 210 pounds. He is a Street Fighter from Liverpool, England. He is a member of The Hooligans and has a GCA Record of 5-0 with 2 KO, 2 Submissions and 1 Referee Stoppage. He is a former GCA Heavyweight Champion. He is 'The One Man Army' Andrew Woods!"
The fans cheered as "Another One Bites the Dust" by Queen blasted. Woods came out in his Khaki trunks and was joined by Gary Campbell, Nigel Watkins and Tyson McDermott. Andrew entered The Pentagon and was given instructions by Seagal.
"And his opponent. He stands at 6'5" and weighed in at 275 pounds. He is a Sambo Fighter and pro wrestler. He is fighting out of Transylvania and has a GCA Record of 2-3 with 2 Submissions. He is a member of The Embraced and is the former Martial Combat Peru Title Holder. He is a former Sudden Impact Fighting Heavyweight Champion and a former CWO World Heavyweight Champion. He is Vladimir 'Kindred' Davovitch!"
The fans in Melonville were on their feet booing as the lights went out and red spotlights flickered as
"March of the Dead" by becoming the Archtype played. Kindred came out with Alexi Natamenchu and Andrei Valimov. He entered The Pentagon as the lights resumed to normal. he took off his Goth shirt and handed it to Andrei. Ryan Duncan said this fight wouldn't go 5 rounds.
"You ready? BRING THE PAIN!"
Round 1: Woods tried a Sidekick but Kindred absorbed it, lifted Woods and sloammed him hard. Kindred easily got into Mount and Woods tried to buck him off. Instead, Woods rolled into backmount. Kindred went to the side, grabbed Woods by the waist and lifted him using the waistlock. Kindred then pivoted and slammed Woods down on his head and shoulders. Seagal called for the bell immediately!
Winner by KO at 0:31 of Round 1: Vladimir "Kindred" Davovitch!
Ryan "Martini" Duncan was in a state of shock. Bob Sky said that The Embraced were a dangerous group and had the quickest win times of the evening. The fans were booing Kindred as he took the mic from William Hung.
"I hope that this proves to the hicks in this forsaken town that I am really the best. The only way EJB, Walt Peterson, or even Paladyn could do anything in EIWF was because of Caldwell putting them over. I am the real deal and I showed that by beating both former GCA Champions. I am the most dangerous man in GCA right now, and next month I will fight Dan Howards. Danny, it doesn't matter how much you get on your knees and pray. God won't save you from the hell I have waiting for you!"
"The fans booed as Kindred laughed. Sky said that mocking Dan's faith was unecessary and low. The fans cheered as Dan Howards came out! He tried to get into the pentagon but GCA security stopped him! Kindred goaded Howards on as the fans wanted to see them fight. Ryan Duncan said that next month's GCA event was gonig to be a blockbuster!
Duncan thanked everyone for watching GCA 7: Bloodbath and said that new about GCA 8 would be posted on the "News" section of the site when made available. Until then, he was Ryan "Martini" Duncan along with Bob Sky thanking you for joining GCA. Hoped you enjoyed the show, good night and see you next month!
