WHAT WE DID!

SUNDAY

Stone Mountain Park

Sunday started early for me too: Again at 7:00 am I got up and started to set up the room. We planned our Stone Mountain Park trip and everyone headed out. It got uglier and rained a bit, and then the park threw a wrench in our directions and closed the parking lot we'd directed everyone to.

Mass confusion could have ensued, but we had our trusty cell phones and walkie talkies. BOY did those things come in handy! After we finally got everyone assembled, we got on the train and took a lot of pictures. Unfortunately, the jarring motion of the train made a few of our attendees a little bit more than ready to go off. We split up.

Some stayed in the park, and a few others went shopping. Gen, Tracy and I went to the German bakery for lunch. Okay...TRACY had lunch. Gen and I had breakfast. Then we went shopping in the cute village. Tracy got a present for one of her kids (It is adorable, but since I don't want to make it so her kids can't read this ) Then we headed back to the hotel.

Stone Mountain Rail

We got ready for dinner and everyone looked really nice when we went to Agatha's. I hope that everyone had fun there. Ginger is my Space Cowgirl Sister (the Wacko, um I mean Waco, Kid) There were apparently two shows on, and only one was on the menu.

When we got home from Agatha's, we had our final discussion panel. This one was on Feedback and was led by Kimber. We talked about what kind of feedback we liked to get, to give, and how we want our feedback to be received. Everyone had a lot of different feelings about feedback, but the overall consensus seemed to be along the lines of the lessons we learned from Thumper. "IF you can't say nuffin nice, then don't say nuffin at all." This discussion just seemed to go on and merged into many other things, and before we knew it, it was 2:30 am.

The group also surprised Amy and I with a wonderful thank you present. It was so very thoughtful of you ladies to do that for us. Thank you so much.
