What a fantastic experience. Thirty-three testosterone charged females, seven handsome men and one wonderful historic city.

I met 32 strangers on Friday and left on Monday with 32 friends, no I mean that sincerely. It was brilliant to meet up with people who loved the fellas and the show as much as I did. To share feelings and thoughts with other liked minded people who didn't give you a strange look that said "Huh!"

To watch those precious episodes that ITV are dragging out over eternity, and the added joy of seeing episodes uncut. I am still in shock over how much ITV cut from The Collector, I never could work out how Ezra got his black eye, but now the mystery is solved.

The whole weekend was a great joy, brilliant fun, frequently descending to the lower levels (the gutter) where I happily reside and had a close knit, family feel about it, (which was lucky, what with the size of the TV viewing room).

Thank you to who every came up with the Global Gathering idea, many, many thanks to Helen for being the European organiser, I know you worked long and hard Helen, and it was all worth it, believe me, what a resounding success. Thank you.

See you all next year.
