Psalm 102:1-8 Hear my prayer O Lord; let my cry for help come to you. Do not hide you face from me when i am in distress. Turn your ear to me when I call, answer me quickly. For my days, vanish like smoke my bones burn like glowing embers. My heart is blighted and withered like grass; I forget to eat my food. Because of my loud groaning, I I am reduced to skin and bones. I am like a desert owl, like an owl among the ruins. I lie awake; I have become like a bird alone on a roof. All day long my enemies taunt me; those who rail against me use my name as a curse |
Today I am dirty/ and I want to be pretty / Tomorrow, I know that I'm just dirt / We are the nobodies / we wanna be somebodies / when we're dead / they'll know just who we are / Yesterday I was dirty / wanted to be pretty / I know now that I'm forever dirt / We are the nobodies / we wanna be somebodies / when we're dead / they'll know just who we are / Some children died the other day / we fed machines and then we prayed / puked up and down in the morbid faith / you should have seen the ratings that day .... / The Nobodies - Marlilyn Manson HolyWood (in the shadow of the valley of death) |
