So what the hell does this mean? It looks like Bradbury's Montag has a heavy load of responsibility. Who wants to save the world when the world isn't in need of saving? The sun will continue burning and our children will always be "our future." That disgusts me. However it is true. No adult today, including myself, has the capacity to bring forth permanent change. I'll kill myself before I have to live in a perfect, safe, harmless world. What a drag it would be to wake up in the morning knowing nothing bad was going to happen. I enjoy  wallowing  in my paranoia and fear. It makes me human.
That's not to say that I spend every second fearing the next.

My father believes nearly every paranoid idea about the government and the intrusion into personal life. He's told me countless times that the government keeps tabs on every word that goes through the internet and searches key words such as president, bomb, assination, child fucking, goat sex and such. If this were true I'd be either dead or in jail. But maybe I am being followed and such by government agents. Perhaps one day they'll need a scapegoat and I'll be the perfect specimen. Maybe I should just take my meds and sedate myself and watch the Lifetime network. Now that is a keyword worthy of being cautious of, senor government. I like my women barefoot, naked and cooking my meals. I like my men dumb and strong. Not really. If she puts clothes on it is just spiffy. Then she can get a job so I don't have to work. I can spend my free time surfing the net and downloading bomb specs and such. mmmmmmwwwwhahahahah. Can you hear me NSA? If I go outside will you use your satellites to take pics of me in my white trash apparel complete with an unshaven face and a Old Milwaukee beer can in hand.

Anyhow, who knows? Maybe I will save the world one day. I've just got to find a cape and some spandex.
