Malo, trnovito drvo do 4 m visine, koje vie lici na grm.
Cesto raste na ivicama uma ili kultivisanih povrina,
formirajuci velike bodljikave, hladovite i vlane zone.
Cveta izmedju aprila i juna, cvetovi su sitni i bele su boje,
grupisani u buketice.
Suprotno od drugih biljaka iz Rosaceae podvrste, cvetovi gloga
se pojavljuju posle listova.
Intenzivno zeleni listovi su podeljeni na tri duboko nazubljena
dela.
Crveni plodovi su priblino, velicine zrna graka
i pojavljuju se izmedju septembra i oktobra.

It flowers between the months of April and June, giving rise

white flowers grouped in bunches.
In contrast to other Rosaceae species, the common hawthorn's
flowers appear after the leaves. The intense green leaves
are divided into 3 deeply dentate lobules. The red fruit are
about the size of a pea and appear between the months of September
and October.
