Rainbow Rage is an annual event put on by Coalition Against Homophobia-- it's a dance where everyone seems to dress like sluts. Actually, it's a lot of fun. I got to wear my nifty dragon dress, which _I_ thought was plenty slutty, but compared to most people, it was downright tame. We went as a group: Michelle, me, Laura, and Jerry and Jamie, Laura's friends from home.

The Rainbow Rage theme was Heaven and Hell--the dance was actually split between the SUB foyer (hell) and the SUB ballroom (heaven). (Hell seemed a lot more packed... hmmm...) Also, some people dressed for the theme. Here we have my beauteous sister Cynthia modeling her 'devil' attire, and my lovely sectionmate Linnea showing off her adorable 'angel' costume.
I had been a little worried about taking my sister to a loud, rowdy college dance with scary things like freak dancing and guys in drag *gasp!*, but she actually enjoyed herself almost more than I did. Go figure! ;-)

Here we are all dressed up for the dance. Ben went "glam-rock" and the general consensus was that he looked "damn hot." Dani went as Dante, her favorite poet. Laura and I just ended up showing a lot more skin than either of us are used to...

I borrowed this picture from Laura's webpage, just 'cause it's funny! It was really really cold outside, waiting in line to be let into the SUB. Brandon lent Laura his jacket, and was a bit of a windbreak for me... seeing as he's a good foot-and-a-half taller than me! (Laura calls him a grande vanilla steamer!!!)
