First thing you see is their contact information and the hours of operation,
with a side menu. What's interesting is that it shows you how you should dress
to go there. Has a lunch menu, dinner menu, and desserts on separate pages
through the menu bar. Has a wine list included, separated by the different
wines.
Commerce:
This is more like a brochure, doesn't allow purchasing at all, just has a
lot of information inside.
Community: (C type) Only has an
email address and a phone number. No comments can be made through the
internet.
Customization: Not needed
CRM: I do not see any CRM online
at all.
Competition: Other fast food,
restaurants, bars and places that sell food.
Corporate Governance: Does not
use the internet to get business, mostly just provide information.
Cost: Very cost effective, only
needs personnel to answer the email. Since it doesn't seem the menu is changing
all the time, low personnel is needed to run the website.
Design: Very plain, has the menu
bar on the left, but on the right side there is a lot of empty space. Would only
be effectively utilizing the space for a 800X600 screen, otherwise either gets
smaller.
Product/Service Mix: Has product,
the menus available, the only service there is would be email.
Target Market: Since it says men
are usually in jackets, I would assume it aimed at higher class, business
people, older people with a higher disposable income. Probably 40s and up.
SWOT
Strengths- is a 12 star restaurant, has all menu items in different pages.
Weaknesses- Not very organized.
Opportunities- Gift certificates, bookings online
Threats- Other better online restaurants
HOW TO IMPROVE:
Their lunch menu can be better improved by organizing the dishes together, by making sure that the prices are by each other. Better organization needed. Wine list can be better organized for easier reference. May consider using a tab theme. May consider allowing people to get gift certificates and allow people to book online. Overall, better organization of the menu is needed. Allowing people to order gift certificates and to book online, would also be an asset.
