Gloria & Gang--

Your itinerary and the Cocchi's itinerary are ready (the Baitzels's haven't completed the questionnaire yet). Please let me know how they look. I have tried to leave them fairly generic for now and we can make them more detailed as your vacation draws near. I'm attaching a couple of documents [ 1 | 2 ] that are little reviews of many of the restaurants.
Thanks!

I think there will be groups going their own way and meeting up at night for dinner. So, I think seperate itineraries based on how each family answered their questionaire would be fine. Thanks for the info on the restaurants. gloria

Gloria--
I am attaching a document about the Fantasmic Dining Package [ here ]. As for the show itself, it is a wonderful laser light show! Here is a link that describes it better than I could: http://www.wdwig.com/m_fantasmic.htm

Victoria & Albert's
is the ultimate in romance and luxury. I haven't dined there (the food isn't really my style) but I've never heard a bad review of this restaurant. Although expensive (about $100/person and the wine pairings are $35-45), its supposed to be worth every dime.

If you want something a little less formal, the California Grill at the Contemporary is another nice option. The view is amazing and the food is always interesting. We dined here once and really enjoyed our experience.

I haven't yet dined at Jiko but it gets pretty good reviews. Its an open-air kitchen, so it can be a bit noisy. (California Grill is open-air also but we didn't notice the noise much).

Citrico's
at the Grand Floridian is another very popular restaurant for romance. Food is Southern French and it looks out over the Seven Seas Lagoon.

Artist Point
at the Wilderness Lodge is a wonderfully romantic restaurant. Food is inspired by the American Northwest and features wild game, seafood and steak.

Here's a link to the resort restaurant menus, if you want to explore these restaurants:

If you want more information about any of the ones above or any you see on that link, let me know! For the itineraries, I had meant to e-mail you to find out if you wanted one general one for everyone or how you wanted me to do that. Before when I've worked with multiple families traveling together, I've ended up doing one itinerary that is a very leisurely one and one that is more fast-paced. I've also done one that is different for each family. Do you have a preference? Are you planning to spend most of your time together or will you all probably go your own way for most of the day and then meet up at some point? If you can let me know, I will get on those rough itineraries ASAP! Thanks! Tricia Brookover Dreams Unlimited Travel

A Note From Tricia...

Gloria & Gang--

I know we've been communicating and such already but I wanted to send out my "official" introduction.

It is my pleasure to introduce myself as your Personal Vacation Planning Consultant for your September 21 trip to Walt Disney World! My name is Tricia Brookover and I'm a moderator on The DIS's Restaurant board and Weddings/Honeymoon Board. I've had the pleasure of traveling to Walt Disney World for ten magical vacations, including a magical honeymoon, along with one trip to Disneyland, one 3-day cruise on the Disney Magic and a 4-day Wonder cruise!

Thank you for filling out the questionnaire promptly. I will have a rough draft itinerary out in a week or so for you! I'm not sure if you'd prefer me to come up with just one itinerary or if you plan to "do your own thing" and so I should come up with one for each family. Let me know which you'd prefer! We could always start out with one and add a second or third on, as time progresses and everyone starts planning.

I've confirmed everyone's reservations now and their payments, so we can get to planning now! I'm attaching the document on Cirque du Soleil that you requested. I will be sending out the other topics over the next month or two. I am more than happy to incorporate any of your suggestions into your itinerary and to provide any additional information you request! Please feel free to e-mail me at ANY time with any comments or questions. I'm looking forward to getting started! :)
