The Caterpillar TDM map asks 2 capabilities, close quarter battle for in the center -to protect an important overviewing zone-, and of course, fast sniping skills for mid-range battle. Use the terrain to its full extend to pop up somewhere, spray, and then dissapear again. So a good lesson to keep in mind is to keep for that mid mountain and gain control of the area surrounding it.
Avoid the flat area's in the valley, and try to baserape by keeping low behind mountains. A running man in the open is 8 out of 10 times spotted. Assaulters, lay back, this is not a into-base-rape friendly map. Keep a distance, because the insertion points are widely spread out.
For ghillie suit snipers, this is a hot place to be, because of all the dark areas on the mountains, and the good amount of grass, u'll surely be safe for a long sniping treat. Go for the highest mountains
