Pirate's Den

The Pirate's Den was opened June 30th, 2000 by owner Brian Cohan of Gloucester City. It is the only "club" type of establishment in the city which features live bands every Friday and Saturday night. The Pirate's Den has two bars, a dining room, and is currently planning an outside deck with bar and a dance floor. Since opening, the Pirate's Den has had over 200 bands play including touring acts from all over the US, Canada, and Europe. The Pirate's Den also has a long Gloucester City history. It was formerly Ferry's Seafood, Amellio's Pub, and Ribsey's. The Pirate's Den is keeping the Gloucester City Rock and Roll tradition alive. Bill Haley and the Comets, Sally Star, and others all played in Gloucester City and Rock and Roll lives on at the Pirate's Den.
