Application Agreement

I,(WE) THE UNDERSIGNED AGREE TO:

Educate, encourage and promote quality in the breeding of purebred Rottweilers, to do all as possible, to bringing their natural qualities to perfection, accept our breed standard as approved by AKC, encourage all sportsmanlike competition, and fanciers appreciate their Rottweiler(s) as companion and not breeding stock only.

BREEDING:
Breed for quality and not quantity, breed no "Pet" litters. (I.E. no breeding of a "Pet" to another "Pet"). No wholesaling, or selling to pet shops, breeding only bitches and males that have obtained an OFA number. (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals).  Breed only stock that do not radically depart from current American Kennel Club Standard for Rottweilers, refuse to breed animals with any of these faults:
   Lacking one or both testicles, undershot or overshot bite
   More than one non-eruptive tooth, entropion or ectopion
   Long or curly coat, extreme shyness, nervousness, or
   viciousness towards humans, white markings in excess of a
   small amount on the chest, color other than stated in the
   current official American Kennel Club Standard for
   Rottweilers.

PUPPY SALES:
To keep proper records in accordance with the American Kennel Club.  Sell by contracts and agreements in a binding and understanding manner for both parties involved.  Place all puppies with health, shot records and typed pedigree.  Sell all puppies that are to be "Pet" on limited registration provided by the American Kennel Club and require neutering.  Encourage all puppy buyers to provide obedience training.

ADVERTISING:
Advertisements to be factual and not so worded to attract undesirable buyers.  Club members will not slander other club members or sales and/or other reasons.  Only sponsor and advertise litters of club members.

I,(WE) agree to conduct myself always in a sportsman like manner and to remember that I represent the Great Lakes Rottwieler Club of Southeast Michigan.  I will report all unsportsman like conduct of other members to the board members.

I UNDERSTAND THAT I MUST FOLLOW FULLY THESE REQUIREMENTS, OR BE REMOVED FROM THE MEMBERSHIP OF THE GREAT LAKES ROTTWEILER CLUB OF SOUTHEAST MICHIGAN.  I AFFIRM THAT I AM IN GOOD STANDING WITH THE AMERICAN KENNEL CLUB.
