Lisa Ono

Lisa Ono is one of the most successful Japanese-Brazilians. She's been a central figure in Japanese Latin boom. (Although less known in North America or in Europe)

She is a native of Sao Paolo. She debuted in 1989 with "Capitoli". She has won many audiences in Japan with her silky soft voice. Her smooth, unforced Bossa sound was approved by many Brazilian musicians, including the Antonio Carlos Jobim, with whom she has collaborated.

She is glue's most favorite singer, and her albums are occupying my CD rack.
