Great Lakes Women’s Soccer League

New Business:

· Late fees - no fine for high school players - $5 for all others

· Deadline for player registration - July 15

· No transfers after July 1

· League Banquet - to distribute prizes and have fun each division should have a picnic after the last game

· Fall Session (Canton): Becky needs help with this - Open and over 30 divisions

· Rules Refresher Clinic - early May, please attend

Unfinished business:

· Dual registration – tabled

· Expansion of the league - over 40? recreational? Put flyer on the website so anyone can print out and post

Elections:

· President - Christine Lussier

· Treasurer-Nancy Soisson

· Member at large - Ed Dudek

(All were re-elected)

Registration meeting - April 20^th

Proposals:

· Start a mid-week league - this motion passed, committee formed to investigate: Rosanna Townsley & Jennifer Williams

· Dual rostering (playing on two teams, different divisions) - motion did not pass

For the Good of the Game:

· Brighton Tournament - last week of July

· Novi Jaguars Tournament - end of May

· Will add women’s teams if there is interest

· Tournament of Champions - volunteers needed, see Harold

· MUSL - has 60 teams, different age groups, 25^th anniversary
