Yamaha XS250, XS360, XS400 Page
This website has been created to help fill the void of information on these motorcycles. I have found very little information on these bikes while searching the internet. With your help, we can create a place where the information can be found for all to benefit. So please send in your photos, stories, tech tips, or anything else you think would be beneficial to owners of an XS250, XS360, or XS400. These three bikes are basically the same, just different bore sizes.

I have moved the site from the old place, cause it was very unreliable and even disapeared for a time. Where did it go? Anyway, I've got the message board working again, and the photos are working again. The parts catalogs are on hold, because there is not enough space with this site to hold them. I'll try to work something out with that. Everything else should be all set, hopefully it will be a little more perminent now. Thanks for stopping by.
August 31, 2000 I have recieved a few
requests from people trying to figure out exactly what year and model they
had. So I have made a
Models Table where you can look up the year
and model based on the serial number. It is not a complete list, so
let me know what is not included.

There have been a few submitions coming in, so I've done some updates
on the Photos, Tech tips and Stories pages. Thanks alot for everyone who
has contributed. There are also some good questions coming up on the
message board, check it out if you have some answeres, or questions of your
own!
I hate to keep posting this everywhere, but
this site's growth is limited to the input I recieve. I have received only
a few submissions, and they have been posted to the site. So everyone get
your photo's, stories, tips and ideas, and send them in!!!!
Thanks.
I have finally finished with getting the
first parts catalog for the XS400SG posted. You can View it
here. Please allow time for the
images to load, I made them a little larger to make them easier to read.
I would like to add a page with the parts
diagrams and parts numbers on them. These are usually from
microfiche. I have one for my bike (XS400SG) and will work on getting it
together. If anyone else has some for other models, and you would like to
see them here, send them to me. (either jpg or pdf) Thanks, and
please remember that the development of this site depends on your
submissions.
I finally got the photos of
my bike developed, check it out. They are on the photos page, along with some photos I found
seaching the net.
I bought my 1980 Yamaha XS400SG in the spring of 2000. I spent a few days trying to find some information about this
bike and turned up very little. I plan to update this page regularly with
information supplied by visitors to the site. The first story I added was
my own. Click
here to see
it! And be sure to send in your own! Also visit the message board
for a disscussion forum.
Here is just a little something to do if you
find yourself a little bored or interested in travel. Well its not you
doing the traveling, it's your money. This is a really neat site that will
allow you to enter the serial numbers of your money, and when somebody else gets
your money and enters it, it tells you where it has been and how long it took to
get there. It's really interesting to see how your money that you had in
your hand a few weeks ago has made it across the country. Click the banner
below and try it out for yourself. This is not a commercial site, it is
strictly for fun!
