Pigs, Pigs, and More Pigs
This is how it all started... with a poster bought simply because I thought it accurately depicted my work space and a picture Mike took (part of his "western Kentucky collection") that I thought looked a lot like the poster.
I had the picture enlarged to an 8x10 and put it and the poster on my cubicle walls when I started working for the National Wildlife Federation in early 1985. Two years later, when I left NWF, a friend there gave me a carved wooden pig as a going-away gift. The poster, photograph, and the wooden pig went with me to my new job at the American Red Cross and a "collection" was born.

So far, I've never bought a pig myself - they've all been gifts over the years. As of now, the collection is still growing... help!!! |
