In G-mik they are caught in a love triangle, in Arriba! Arriba they only have eyes for each other, but in real life, they're just, you know friends.  The Danilo Barrios and Camille Prats tandem is definetely one of the most popular loveteams on TV today.  As individual stars, Camille is holding quite a strong court on TV while Danilo is making mark in the movies.  Aside from G-mik and Arriba Arriba Camille is the marie in the afternoon soap Marinella.  Danilo, after last December's hit Spirit Warriors, just happens to be in the big Vilma movie of the year, Dekada '70.  In the planning stage is Regal project that would put him together with two of the hottest teen idols of the hour, Cogie Domingo and the Lifebouy boy, James Blanco.

But together, they make one of the cutest, most wholesome teen tandems of the moment.  Having just started the partnership late last year when G-mik 2 was launched, the summer of 2001 is also the summer pf their love...team.  They discover something new about each other everyday.  As of press time, they adore each other's smiles, they learned that they're both moody, and they both love to dance.  And since they also love to talk - at least, to and about each other - we asked them to tell us more about the Danilo-Camille difference:

CAMILLE ON DANILO, DANILO ON CAMILLE

Camille:  He has nice smile 'tsaka meron kasi siyang ginagawa na parang nagpapa-cute sa'yo (imitates Danilo's smile).  Mahilig siyang magpa-cute lalo na pag maraming grils sa tabi tabi.
Danilo:  'Yan si Camille, mabait 'yan, minsan suplada, minsan mataray.  Tatarayan ka niyan kahit wala ka namang ginagawa.  Pero mabait.

ON THEIR BEST ASSETS

Danilo:  Her lips, smile, 'yun ang gustong-gusto ko sa girl 'yung cute smile.
Camille:  His eyes, 'tsaka lips.

ON WHAT THEY HATE ABOUT EACH OTHER

Danilo:  Ayaw ko lang sa kanya 'pag nagkakaroon siya ng sugat tapos kinakamot niya lagi, pinapalo ko 'yung kamay niya.
Camille:  Kasi mahilig siyang magtusok ng kili-kili pag naka-sleeveless ako, and I really hate it, I don't know.

ON THEIR SIMILARITIES

Danilo:  Pareho kaming mababaw ang kaligayahan, palatawa.  Moody kasi ako.  Kung minsan hindi ako iimik, kung minsan mangungulit ako kukulitin ko sila.
Camille:  Pareho kaming mabungisngis, tsaka mababaw 'yung kaligayahan.  Mabilis kaming tumawa 'tsaka kahit na ano napag-uusapan namin kasi mabilis kaming tumawa.  So kahit korni natatawa kami.  Kulitan lang usually, not really serious things ang pinag-uusapan.  But we share secrets and and nagbibigay kami ng advices sa isa-isa.

ON MAKING THE LOVETEAM REAL

Camille:  I don't know hindi ko kasi iniisip 'yun eh.  As of now were froends.  I don't know.  We're still too young, okay na kami sa ganito.
Danilo:  Okay lang sa'akin.  Hindi naman natin masasabi yan eh.  For now, were still friends.  Baka mamaya 'pag tinotoo, 'yun pa 'yung makasira sa loveteam namin.

ON WHAT MAKES THEIR TEAM DIFFERENT

Danilo:  Wala naman akong nakikitang difference basta ang wish ko lang magtagal.
Camille:  Kami 'yung loveteam na we both love to dance kasi 'di ba he's a good dancer?  Ako mahilig din akong magsayaw so enjoy ako 'pag rehearsals, kadalasan we dance in ASAP na kaming dalawa.  Marami ang nagsasabi na we have a rapport at saka marami namang nagkakagusto ng loveteam namin.  Eh hindi naman kami nagkakaroon ng problema-okey sa parents ko na siya ang ka-loveteam ko and it's okey with me kasi mabait naman siya, supportive naman siya sa ginagawa namin.
