Course Difficulty Descriptions:
Top of Page

W (White) Beginner; all controls on trails or handrails.
Y (Yellow) Advanced beginner; all controls just off controls or handrails.
O (Orange) Intermediate; controls accessible from trails or handrails but knowledge of map and compass use necessary.
B (Brown) Advanced; shorter length
G (Green) Advanced; difficult skill level and longer length; controls may be far from trails or handrails.
R (Red) Advanced; difficult skill level and long length.
B (Blue) Expert; difficult terrain and difficult controls.



Directions to Events

Catamount Family Center: Take I-89 to Exit 12. North on VT rt.2A 3/4 miles to US rt. 2. West on Route 2 for 2.3 miles to crossroads in Williston villge. North on North Williston Road 1 mile to Governor Chittenden Rd. Turn right (east) and head 1/2 mile to Catamount Family Center

Green Mountain Audubon Center: Take I-89 t Exit 11. East on route 2 to Richmond, right (south) at light. go about 1 mile to River Road, Turn right (west). Follow signs to Huntington, about 5 miles. At Sherman Hollow Rd., turn right and continue to Visitors Center

Hubbard Park: Take I-89 to Exit 8. Left at huge green State House sign. Right after bridge at State Street. Left at Elm St. Left onto Winter St. and straight up into park. Look for signs for parking.

Pine Ridge Adventure Center: Take I-89 to Exit 11. Go west on Route 2 about 2 miles to School entrance.

Shelburne Farms: Take I-89 to Exit 13 (I-89 Extension) to US 7 (Shelburne Road). Head south on US7 for 2.75 miles to traffic light at Bay Road. West on Bay Road 1.75 miles to end and Shelburne Farms.
