| Who can resist the talent that is David Bowie? My introduction to his music goes back to High School, about 30 years ago, and Ziggy. The only concert I remember being able to get tickets for was at the Tower in Philadelphia. They didn't name it the Tower for "nothin". I was in the last row at the top! The sound was excellent but as far as seeing anything, well I was there what more can I say. There are SO many tunes I love but a few of my favorites are Suffragette City, Starman, Drive-in Saturday, Time, Sweet Thing, China Girl, Changes, Shapes of Things, Under Pressure (duet) and Lady Grinning Soul. In 1978 he did a wonderful narration of Peter and the Wolf. My favorite fantasy type movie was the Wizard of Oz. That was until Labyrinth!!! If you haven't seen it what are you waiting for??? The soundtrack is incredible, too! Bowie is also a good actor and if able, try to rent The Man Who fell to Earth. And who can forget his Christmas duet with Bing Crosby? He's just incredible!!! Best wishes to him and Iman on their new addition to the world!!! She'll come, she'll go. She'll lay belief on you Skin sweet with musky oil The lady from another grinning soul Cologne she'll wear. Silver and Americard She'll drive a beetle car And beat you down at cool Canasta. And when the clothes are strewn. Don't be afraid of the room Touch the fullness of her breast. Feel the love of her caress She will be your living end. She'll come, she'll go. She lay belief on you But she won't stake her life on you How can life become her point of view |
