She sees her mother, Arden, carrying a ticket that says "Secret Cinema", and when she finds the theatre, They refuse to let her in. All of Jane's daily occurrences are being shown to the delight of all the movie viewers inside. When she finally catches on, just when the final day of shooting ends, she demands a movie stars pay. When she is refused, she secretly makes a deal with the producer to make films focusing on only those important people.

Commentary

This very well could have been the inspiration for The Truman Show. The time passage place cards are clever. But, with performers like Eve Arden, Griffin Dunne, Barry Dennen and  Paul Bartel (who also directed the piece) it seems to like potential humor. However , Bartel (Eating Raoul) keeps the story dark.

How Amazing?
It's okay.
