setting: driving on the road...to somewhere far

(i only remember part of the dream so bear with me, here) i'm driving with some people. but for some reason, i down-shifted from 5th gear...and i'm going 80 mph in 4th. i smell something burning, but it takes me a while to figure out that i should not have down-shifted. stupid me. as i'm slowing down to cool off my car, some car lightly hits my car and i skid off the road into this sandy area.

i thought the other car woulda pulled over, but it just drove off. i was stuck there with my friends w/no place to go. my license plates broke off and for some reason, we got the idea to steal someone else's license plate...just one for the rear of my car.

fortunately, we were just a couple hundred feet away from another car that, for some reason, had multiple license plates. we decided to take one and drive off. my car wasn't starting, though. just great.

we went around the town...doing some sight-seeing. it was really nice. there were hotels that looked like palaces. big, shiny gates. women in BEAUTIFUL dresses. men in tuxedos.

then it went back to the car. we had to leave asap cuz the ppl that owned the car from which we stole a license plate were coming back. starting up the car...SUCCESS! we were on our way. but they were chasing us! CRAP! drive! drive! drive!!
