Here are a few stages of pulling the small 455 cubic inch motor.  Below are some pictures that are a before and after relation.  Currently the motor and trans are out of the car awaiting rebuilds.

This is how dull the paint was when we purchased the vehicle.  After hours of buffing...result below...

...the paint is rather thin after years of sunlight, but it will do for now.  We were very surprised at how well of shape the chrome appeared.  It's a good thing because the bumpers are high cost if you can find them.

I tried to get the scanner to take a better picture.  If you notice...the reflection is better seen on the front fender compared to the hood of the car.  Also, notice how much oxidation effected the car.  I will try to scan a better picture later.  In case you're interested in what I used to restore some shine I used Turtle Wax Color Back.
