John 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing
I was watering the plants in my window at work yeasterday, when I noticed that I had let them wilt, because I had not watered them like I should have.
Christians are much like plants and the bible our water, with out it we can't grow. We need to be watered by the word daily.
Acts 17:11 These were more noble than those in thessalonica, in that they recieved the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, wheter those things were so.
We too need to be wise ready to recieve the Holy scriptures. Search them daily and watch yourself grow! |
