Greg Maddux hurls second career perfect game

History was made in Avery Tards as Greg Maddux(8-4) thrilled the crowd by
tossing a perfect game and the Avery Tards (AVC) defeated the Rivercrypts
(SEG) by the score of 4 to nothing.

Maddux had overwhelming stuff tonight. He simply never gave the Rivercrypts
batters a decent pitch to drive.  What an evening for the fans.  They were on
the edge of their seats from the 7th inning on.  With every out, the
electricity in the air mounted.  The pitchers took over after the 3rd inning
as neither team was able to score again.  

Dustin Hermanson(1-5) was charged with the loss.  He surrendered 4 runs and 6
hits in 5 innings.  'Maddux made us look bad' Kasey Segraves said. 'I've seen
a lot of good performances in my time and this one will be tucked away in my
memory bank for a long time to come'
