2000 Bio

Second Season: Fyedka in Fiddler on the Roof, Oliver in As You Like It and appears in Patience.

Jonathan proudly hails from Bowmanville, Ontario, which birthed his love of village folk, wide open spaces, farm smells, small stores and big dreams. He also credits his high school extracurricular drama, in particular its directors, with fostering his love of theatre and theatre for the love of it. He took some classes at the University of Waterloo and managed to slip away for student matinees at the Stratford Festival, before taking up studies in Montreal at the National Theatre School. His professional career began at the Banff Centre in Reaney's Donnelly trilogy, where he played a variety of roles. He went "wacky" in The Complete Works of Willm Shkspr (Abridged) for almost a year and then went on to the Georgian Theatre Festival before returning to Stratford. Jonathan was part of the inaugural season of the Stratford Festival Conservatory for Classical Theatre Training. Much love to friends and family. To everyone he says, "Drink L'chaim to life!"
