1999 Bio

Stratford debut: Theseus in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Male Guest in Pride and Prejudice and appears in Richard II. A member of the inaugural Stratford Festival Conservatory for Classical Theatre Training and the Young Company.

Jonathan hails from Bowmanville, Ontario. His professional career began at the Banff Centre in Reaney's Donnelly trilogy where he played a variety of roles, most significantly that of a cart-horse. He is thrilled to reprise his stallion in this season's Pride and Prejudice, though he prefers western saddle. After a Rocky Mountain High he sprinted about the Bathurst Street Theatre in The Complete Works of Willm Shkspr (Abridged), and then loved a season at the Georgian Theatre Festival. He aspires to perform in a five act epic play where snowboarding is central to the plot. He would like to thank his fellow "conservatoryites", teachers and actors. And a special thank you to his family from whom he learns the big stuff.
