Mandi

I remember the day I found you, running from car to car looking for who ever dropped you off.. They said at the gas station that you had been running the highway for days. It didn't take you but a minute to get in the truck with me and from there on you were my dog.

You would run and meet me at the gate every time I came home - knowing you shouldn't be that close to the road- you just couldn't help yourself... I had to laugh as I scolded you. You were the first to have puppies and the first to have them taken by no good reason..
the first too gory to tell and then when you started hiding them the dog catcher was called and they didn't even give me a chance to come get you.. you were gone by the time I called when you didn't show up for dinner that night. I am SO sorry.. I had but a year with you and I think I gave you a happy home.. but you are over Rainbow's Bridge with all your puppies and watching over me and the rest.. Thank you for being mine even if for just a short time.. you are sadly missed!
