I really don't understand all you people who sleep at night. I do during the school year, because otherwise
I'd miss classes and such. But during the summer, WHY? Why would you want to be up and about in the blinding sunlight all day when you could hide yourself away in a basement where even the moonlight can't get you. Granted moonlight is very pretiful (never thought
I'd use that word) and I certainly appreciate it if I'm going for a walk late at night.
It bothers me that society is totally and completely geared towards the day. It makes a bit of sense, seeing as how you don't need to use lights when there's sunlight, but everything uses computers now, which use power whether there's sunlight present or not. So why don't people who use computers to work switch to working nights and sleeping during the day?
First of all, it would mean the city wouldn't be as crowded during the day. Traffic would be lighter, so you'd probably get to work faster. And people like me could avoid the horrible blinding rays of the evil evil ball of burning gas that maintains life on this planet.
Does any of this make sense? Maybe not, I am typing it at 3:52 in the morning, but that wouldn't be a problem for my mind if I hadn't been forced to wake up at the horribly unpleasant time of 2 PM. And yet this stupid illogical society continues to be
ridiculously single-minded about the world we live in, everything has to fit into a little box. If it doesn't, you get fired for coming to work 14 and half hours late.
I want to be able to do my work whenever the hell I want. But it's not likely to happen,
I'll probably end up some overworked mentally unstable man who murders people in the street in broad daylight (which he considers the night) and then wonders why he's been stuck in jail being ignored by the guards.
I hate society, it's stupid and illogical and just doesn't work. I say we take up the banner of freedom and strangle those totalitarian capitalists. WHO'S WITH ME?. *utter silence* Oh right, I forgot, you're all still asleep.
