Wade Robson Has Erased Britneys Number
Though only 21, Wade Robsoon has had a pretty colourful career so far. He has worked with, among others, Michael Jackson, Pink, Aerosmith and Usher.

But it's his association with Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake that really got the dance teacher talked about. Wade was reported to have had a fling with Britney and is widely acknowledged to be the cause of the singer's split from childhood sweetheart Justin in March 2002.

Wade, however, has never admitted they had an affair and he's sticking to his story. ''We just worked together,'' he insists. ''There's so much gossip about us. It's annoying, but I accept that because she's a big star that's what was going to happen.''

Wade met Brit when he was 16 and began working for her. He quickly established himself as a firm fixture in her life. ''We met just after er success with Baby one more time, but she wasn't a diva. She was sweet, fun and full of energy and enthusiasm. That's what I thought was great about her. Britney was keen to become a lot raunchier so we worked well together.''

When Brit split from Justin, sources close to her described Wade as her rock. One friend said, ''Britney has a very special relationship with Wade. He has an amazing influence on her life and they spend loads of time together.'' At the time, Wade said, ''I get to drive Britney's sexual energy into her performances- she tells me fantasies and we interpret them.'' It was suggested Wade wasn't just talking about her her onstage antics, and student Tom Witchey, who allegedly had a one-night stand with Britney last year, said she admitted to a fling with Wade and said that it led to her break-up with Justin.

The rumoured affair between Britney and Wade was said to be the inspiration behind Justin's Cry me a river video in which a Britneyalike is seen getting into a car with another man while Justin looks on. Wade admits, ''I did hear that Cry me a river was about how Justin was so angry with Britney and me. But I didn't pay any attention to it.''

In fact, Wade was close to JT, too. He choreographed two of *NSYNc's world tours in 2001 and wrote four songs on their last album, co-writing and producing two tracks with Justin. He was even dubbed the unofficial sixth *NSYNC member, so a possible fling with Brit must have been the ultimate betrayal for Justin. But Wade refuses to comment, saying simply, ''I've no problem with Justin and I'm sure he has no problem with me.''

The last time Wade saw Justin was two years ago when the singer was on the verge of global success with his album Justified. ''There's no animosity between us,'' Wade says. ''We chatted, but he seemed really nervous about whether his solo career, would take off. Guess he didn't have anything to worry about!''

And the choreographer is no longer in contact with Britney, ''I've erased her number from my phone, but if we bump into each other, it's cool. There was no awkwardness. We're both getting on with our own thing.''

Wade, originally from Brisbane, australia, has been dancing since he was five. He won a contest imitating Michael Jackson and got to meet him. ''He asked me to dance with him,'' Wade recalls. ''He was really fun and friendly, and took a real interest in my dancing career.'' Jacko also put Wade in two of his videos, for Black or white and Jam.

Wade's latest project is a Tv show called MTV Shakedown, in which he puts budding dancers from Europe through their paces as they compete to be crowned the continent's best dancer.

And it's not just his career that's going well. He's also loved up with his novelist girlfriend, Amanda, and says life couldn't be better. ''My girlfriend's not into showbiz, which suits me fine. I'm happy in my career and life. I hope Britney is too.''
