| I work in a branch library
that serves a population of a little over 10,000 people. It's too small
to have specialists for different departments. As a result, I know how
to do all the jobs associated with running a library myself. I can, and do, do anything that's necessary to serve our patrons' needs, a sort of jack-of-all-(library) trades. If you need an answer to a question, I'll find it for you. It doesn't matter what your questions are about (homework, computers, the Internet, book or author recommendations., research, etc.), I'm expected to know the answers - or know how to find them. I enjoy tracking down answers and then showing folks how to do it for themselves. Why? Because I believe that when you learn how to learn, the knowledge you gather is yours forever. Anyway, working in the library is one of the things I do in life. It's never boring & it's a great place to work. Please, enjoy yourself while you browse 5 stars from gobbysreviews. |
