Book Review: The Ronan Series by James BibbyA series of three (Ronan the Barbarian, Ronan's Rescue, Ronan's Revenge) fantasy novels with the emphasis very much on humour - for instance some characters are introduced with outrageous names solely to facilitate the making of awful puns. A barbarian warrior and his companions, a carnivorous donkey and a permanantly
drunk lecher, save the world from evil marauders. But these are fun books
that will while away a wet weekend or two. Recommended for some light
reading. |
