Last night after I finshed writing my entry and doing a few other minor things, I decided that it was time to get off the computer. Almost as soon as I engrossed in 1984, I heard a sound coming from outside. It grew louder and more insistent. So I looked out the window wondering if maybe there was another 'security incident' going on. No, this time it wasn't a transient who was threatning to cut people, much much worse, it was frat inination night. Outside there were people in matching outfits all chanting "KAPPA-SIGMA-KAPPA-SIGMA". If an alien spaceship had landed right then, earth would be vaporized with good cause. Breifly, I considered opening the window and chanting "SHUT-UP-SHUT-UP". I decided that it wouldn't be a good idea. First, it wouldn't make them shut up. Second, I have a rather distinctive voice and the Kappa Sigs kinda frighten me. This school has a reputation as a party school, and lots of people do use college aas 4-6 years of drinking themselves into oblivion, but if you don't party all the time it's a good school with small class sizes and dedicated professors. However here at least, the Kappa Sigs try to bolster the reputation of party school. Last year's shirts had a profile of a scantly clad woman and the motto "Pulling Ho's since ----(date of founding)". I wouldn't give them money for any of their required charity projects, that shirt just made me too sick. This year's shirts aren't misgynonistic, just stupid, "Because after the party-There's an after party." Gee, guys, way to act mature. The fact that I might end up working for one of these losers if I don't do good just makes me want to study harder. So I went right back to 1984, since it is for a class. Put that your crack pipe and smaoke it Kappa Sigma.
Anyways, enough bitterness for today. It's not raining anymore, but smart money is on it raining around 4:00 p.m. When it's not raining water or frat boys, I've got a great veiw from my room. It's the skyline and part of the interstate, which looks really pretty at night. It's a much better view then last year's vista of the parking garage and a huge Wendy's sign. In other news, I'm going to have to go grocery shopping soon. I'm out of Diet Pepsi, and almost out of water and soymilk. Mmm, Diet Pepsi, and peanut butter Cap'n Crunch, sounds like a healthly diet. See this is why I take vitamins. That's it for today.
