Part of what made my experience on the WDW College Program so great was the fact that I had the best managers in the whole "World. "
Mark Laffoon and Don Webb: My two direct managers (over all Custodal host) were always for us as both cast members and as people. We could always talk to them about anything that was on our minds. If I needed a day off for something, they would do everything in their power to grant it. If you gave them your full 100% they would give you 110% to make life enjoyable.
Vince Gadson: Vince was the first manager that I really got to know. About two weeks into the program Future World Center sponcered two breakfasts for the new College Program students. I was unable to attend the first due to my working schedule and i attended the second. Most of the FWC CPs attended the first breakfast or neither of the two. Infact I was the only CP to attend the second breakfast. It was me Vince and his supervisor Dan Cockrine. The focus of the conversations were placed upon me, and therefore Vince got to know me as a person quite well.
Sylvie: Sylvie was great. The only woman (and only French) manager I had, Sylvie was a unique addition to my experience on the College Program. I didn't know Silvie as well as the other managers due to the fact that she delt more with the Flight team and Spaceship Earth castmembers then with the Custodial host. Sylvie would often give me and Robbie Guest service cards for our entertaining of the guest. |
