The story starts out in a the large city of Midgar. A group, called Avalanche, are seeking to destroy the Mako reactors that are sucking the energy out of the planet. These Mako reactors were the primary energy source for electricity and are controlled by Shinra Corporation. If it wasn't for Avalanche, the life of the planet would be at stake, but Shinra never understood that. Cloud is an ex-soldier from the Shinra Corporation. He joins Avalanche shortly after he leaves Soldier. Things start to happen and Avalanche disappears and Cloud and his gang are off on another adventure. To seek and destroy Sephiroth, an evil man who is out to destroy the world. On this adventure, Cloud seeks help with a Flower Girl named Aeris. She has the ability to speak to the planet and feel what its feeling....
Storyline: 10/10 I love the storyline! It has to be the best feature of the game and one of the best Squaresoft/Square-Enix has ever created. It was so detailed and there was so many twists in the plot. It was really hard for me to put down the controller, because I always wanted what would happen next.
