[Candidate for Goddess] takes place in the year 4088. Humans were in a fierce battle with creatures called Victim. In order to fights against them, five Ingrids [Goddesses] were created. Only one planet with humans stood in existance [Zion]. Only males with the blood type Eo and who possessed something called EX could become pilots of a Goddess. But first, they have three years of being candidates. After that time, only five will picked. Each pilot, as well as a candidate, has a female repairer.
Each candidate [and pilot] have different EX powers. Zero's, for example, is speed.
