"1617! Wake up, we are going to be late!"

I woke up abruptly, my eyes opened to reveal a frantic face staring at me. Recognizing the face I slowly stretched and sat up to face her.

"Why hello 1618," I said with a grin as I quickly jumped out of bed and embraced her in a tight hug. " Oh I am so excited! I am... I mean we are finally going to be goddesses. Hmmm, look at the time. We had better hurry, or else we will be late."

"That’s what I have been trying to tell you,"1618 whispered," come on hurry."

I immediately changed into the white traditional "goddess attire" that is worn to the graduation ceremony. When we were both ready 1618 and I ran together to the ceremonial hall.

The ceremony began. Everyone, all thirteen of us took our seat. One by one the Head Professor called up the Goddesses is Training, they all received a name, a power and an aspect to rule over. Lunare doesn’t usually attend these functions, actually there are a very few that have actually seen the Lady Lunare. She does however make a congratulation speech in mid ceremony.

Everyone stopped as a voice began to speak over the intercom. It was Lunare.

"Good luck to you all with your new names and powers. Serve well my children, and always follow your heart." There was a brief silence before she continued," Also, could Goddess in Training 1617 please report to my temple immediately? Thank you, that is all."

"My goddess," I exclaimed.

"What did you do this time 1617?" 1618 asked, the with a smile she continued, “Did you get caught sleeping or skipping class again? I'll bet now you aren’t going to graduate."

"You are so cruel. I'd better get going." I quickly ran out of the Ceremonial Hall and went towards Lunare's Temple. The bright silver doors of Lunare’s Temple stood gleaming in front of me. Taking a deep breath, I pushed them open and started up the white marble stairs. Reaching the top, I knocked softly on the door.

I stood there patiently. Time passed very slowly, but finally the door opened and There stood a woman completely covered with cloth, only her deep brown eyes were visible.

"Are you Lunare?"

"No miss, I am not." She replied, then quickly she turned and began walking down a long hallway." Miss please follow me, Lady Lunare will receive you in her main chamber."

As I entered her chamber, I was completely surrounded by a bright light. It quickly faded to reveal a woman sitting in a beautiful throne across the room. The woman only surpassed the thrones beauty, I knew instantly that this was Lunare. Immediately I fell to one knee and bowed my head.

"Lady Lunare, you requested my presence?"

"Yes my child, I did. Please come closer." Lunare gestured me to move, so I did so. Without raising my head I walked until I reached the base of her throne." I have called you here so that I might give you something very special."

For a moment I remained still, and quiet. *Something to give me? Whatever could it be? Did I hear her right? * I slowly raised my head until my confused gaze met her glowing eyes.

"Something for me, My Lady?"

" I have chosen you," Lunare began," Of all the graduates in the past, present and future, you are the choice of the heavens. You have a strong potential that you can’t see yet. It’s raw and undeveloped. But never the less I choose you to be a Goddess first class. I want you to assist me."

In the Goddess realm there are five classes of goddesses. The fifth class are the girls chosen by Lunare to become Goddesses in Training, but are not yet of schooling age. A class four Goddess is my present class; it is a class for all Goddesses in Training. Third Class Goddesses are what class four's graduate into, an official graduated "Goddess". A second class Goddesses is a promoted and highly respected Goddess. Finally Class one, no one in the history of Lunare's Heavens has ever achieved this, for the prophecy has never announced itself, until now. For some unknown reason, I am that prophecy. A soon to be class one Goddess...

"I don’t understand Lady Lunare, haven’t you seen me skip class to go swimming in Ambrosia Lake? Are you sure that you haven’t mistaken me for a more studious, intelligent and beautiful Goddess in Training?"

Lunare smiled and let out a small laugh before regaining her perfect posture. She was serious. It truly was me that she wanted. " Yes, I am quite sure that there hasn’t been a mistake. You are no longer Goddess in Training 1617. I now pronounce you as a First Class Goddess, Lady Venus L. Ares. You are the Goddess of both Love and War, with the purity of the Moon. Your powers are, or will eventually be unlimited, however your strength will be Fire Magick. Now please take a few steps back and close your eyes."

I did as Lunare bid. A warm glow began to surround my body, and then slowly it began to seep into the core of my body. It filled me with wonderful warmth of love and happiness. I opened my eyes just soon enough to see the glow vanish inside of me.

"I think that you had better return to the ceremony, they are all probably still wondering whether or not I found out about you sleeping in class, cutting class or perhaps some other detail I might know that could lessen your chance of graduating." Lady Lunare smiled, and then Vanished.

"Thank you." I called after her, but I received no reply. I quickly left Lunare’s Temple and Rushed back to the Ceremonial Hall. As I entered, everyone stood.

"What are you all doing? Please sit down!" My face blushed as the entire crowd took their seats except for 1618.

"We just heard," 1618 began." Congratulations Lady Venus."

A slight rumble in the air emerged, and then a voice spoke. It was once again Lunare.

" Lady Venus, I almost forgot. Here!" A blood red ribbon appeared and gracefully tied itself around my right foot," It gives you your powers. You must never remove it, ever!" With that Lunare’s voice disappeared.

All the other Goddesses had already received their gifts, and were slowly beginning to leave the hall. 1618 came up to me, quickly bowing and then we too left the Ceremonial Hall.
