Jackson, MI (AP) --
"Well, as evil as Thade was, we wanted someone pulling his strings. Someone who was evil personified. We came across this Money Domme called Farah, who fit the bill perfectly. She even has flying monkeys for subs, so we were going to incorporate them into the film. Unfortunately, GF's screen test shocked Tim Roth to the core. He came to me and said "Tim, that woman tried to beat me with a belt buckle. Then she tried to smother me with used panties. I won't make it through this film. She may be beautiful, but I'd prefer someone more gentle to work with." That's when we brought in Michael Clark Duncan to be the huge silverback. I don't regret my decision at all. Our association with GF is now over."
Or is it? Rumor has it Burton is so obsessed with bringing down Farah, he is planning to make his next film about her past with children's panties. Burton denies this.
"What sort of sad, deranged individual do you think I am? Sure I had a disagreement with the woman, but do you honestly think I'm going to spend months researching this, pay money out of my own pocket to fund it and then take the time and mental energy to promote this to numerous people? God, only an obsessive, lonely, mentally-challenged, retarded, gossip-hungry, dishonest, unethical, insecure reprobate would do THAT."
And there, I believe, we can all agree with Mr. Burton.
