Rumiko Takahashi
Rumiko Takahashi was born in 1957, in Niigata, Japan. Her first series came out in 1978. Lum* Uresei Yatsura ran until 1987. Her next series, Maison Ikkoku, ran parallel to her first, starting in 1982. In 1987 both those series ended, after 34 volumes and 15 volumes. As they both wrapped up, Rumiko Takahashi started working on another series, Ranma 1/2 which was her longest series, running 38 volumes and ended in early 1996. Just like when her first 2 series ended, Rumiko Takahashi quickly began her next series, Inuyasha: A Feudal Fairy Tale. She also done many short stories, such as One or W, Firetripper, and Maris the Chojo. These have all been collected in Rumic World and Rumic Theater. She has also done Mermaid Saga and One Pound Gospel.
