| He was going to teach his son to play ball, maybe even coach his son's team. |
| He was going to teach him right from wrong. |
| He was going to be the one his son went to when he needed advice. |
| When he looks at his father he doesn't see the man his father should be. |
| They share one view of eachother. |
| A blur. |
| The father sees his son behind the blur of drugs. |
| The son see's his father behind the blur of his tears. |
| The son broken hearted watching his father slowly kill himself. |
| The father broken hearted because he never got to teach his son how to play ball. |
| He never got to coach his team. |
| He never taught his son right from wrong. |
| He wasn't there to give his son advice. |
| Now he's dead, gone, no life in him. |
| Not the father, but the son. |
| From the same toxins his father put into himself. |
| He followed in the footsteps of his father and fell of the track of life. |
