Memories
8/30/2000

You race through my mind,
Searching and digging
For the thoughts buried deep beneath.
Bolted under lock and key,
You force them open,
Flooding my body with countless emotions.
Shivers creep up my spine.
My fists tighten.
Sweat trickles down my face
As I fight back the tears
And lock my legs from running
Far
Far

Away.
