| The last survivor of a race of giant prehistoric reptile called the Anguirasaurus, Anguirus was the third monster to be discovered. Starting out as Godzilla's enemy, he eventually became his best friend and most trusted ally. When they first met, Anguirus was apparently killed in Osaka but later turned up on Monster Island. During the Kilaak Invasion of 1999, he guarded the aliens base at Mt. Fuji and was one of the seven monsters responsible for helping to kill King Ghidorah. | ||||||||
