| Crustaceous Rex (C-Rex) Height: 50 meters Weight: 20,000 tons Powers: Able to spray ink from its mouth, four tentacles on its chest that can ensnare opponents (tentacles are strong), strong shell and is an adaptive swimmer. Crustaceous Rex had also shown the capability to regenerate his tentacles, though how long it takes is unknown. History: A mutation spawned from a nuclear blast, Crustaceous Rex roamed the shores of Jamaica. In the ocean depths, C-Rex fed on giant squids. When the squid population was eradicated by Godzalla, it came to the surface to find a new source of food. Eventually, C-Rex fought Godzalla and held his own for a while. But it was only delaying the inevitable and was annihilated by Godzalla's thermonuclear flames and was eventually buried alive by hard rock. Godzalla swam through the ocean waters and revealed a watery graveyard of past victims of the giant squid, who eventually ended up okay. Fate would intervene in the form of the Tachyon aliens, who took control of C-Rex-who miraculously survived-and unleashed the giant sea-dwelling leviathan on London. Eventually, the alien control was broken and C-Rex became a new resident on Monster Island. Was later freed and fought with the other residents, eventually being dealt with and returned to his confinements. In an alternate future, C-Rex and the other mutations of Monster Island joined the world in fighting a wave of Dragmas, but finally met his end. However, in the new timeline, C-Rex even to this day is alive and well on Monster Island. Fighting Power: *** The first mutation to ever defy Godzalla, C-Rex proved to be a formidable opponent. During the confrontation, C-Rex showed signs of intelligence or at least common sense by blinding Godzalla with his ink spray. The mutation is mainly adapted to sea life but is well capable at thriving on land. C-Rex possesses four, powerful tentacles that can ensnare opponents and toss them around like rag dolls or constrict the life out of them. If an opponent had fallen, C-Rex could easily attempt to crush them with his huge feet. Its hard carapace (shell) is incredibly thick and would come in handy in a physical confrontation. With these positive comments aside, C-Rex still receives an average rating. Any creature with a projectile of some kind could easily disable those tentacles and without them, C-Rex can't really do anything to you. Most kaiju had shown the intelligence to at least wipe something out of their eyes if they were blind and C-Rex never really took advantage of that in his fight with Godzalla. But in C-Rex's defense, it was more interested in attaining substances for its own survival than slay Godzalla. Even then, if C-Rex faces an opponent packing sufficient firepower, it wouldn't be long until the aquatic leviathan is defeated. |
