Here are a few of the books I recommend.
You can find them all at

Order Dr. James A. Duke's wonderful book!
This is an ideal book for the beginning "herbologist". This 507 page, hardcover book is packed with all of the information you need to learn more about natural remedies for "Aging" to "Yeast Infections". This book was the required text for a class I took at Arizona State University entitled "Medicinal Botany" PLB494.

Order Melvyn R. Werbach's and Michael T. Murray's book, Botanical Influences on Illness, A sourcebook of clinical research!
Unfortunately, I do not have a graphic of the front cover of this book. This book lists the naturalpathic remedies for numerous ailments and then gives the references and abstracts of prestigious journals that report clinical evidence supporting the herb's use. In plain English, this book "proves", through clinical trials, the efficacy of certain herbal treatments. This book is highly recommended for any of you skeptics out there as well as for those who are interested in "scientific" backing.
