This is the new double album from Tori Amos, which I love of course. The second disc of live performances is simply amazing. The tracks were recorded during the Plugged Tour 98 with the songs Sugar and Purple People recorded during soundcheck. It's way too hard to pick my favorite ones, but here goes: Cornflake Girl, Girl, Cloud on my Tongue, Bliss, Concertina, Glory of the 80's, Lust, 1000 Oceans. I have to stop myself now or I will end up listing all the tracks. By far, Tori is one of the best live performers and it definitely comes through on the album - she always plays the piano and sings with such intensity and passion. This album is worth buying just for the 2nd disc, but then you also have Tori's new songs (similar in style to her last album, From the Choirgirl Hotel, in that she has stayed with the electronica sound). Talented, talented singer/songwriter. This is her fifth album so far, and I can't wait for her next.
