I just wanted to Say Thank you for Some Good Laughs.  Just goes to show, Ignorance must be Bliss.
People like you make me Laugh. You rate cars on Drag racing... Which requires no driving skill at all. Anyone can make a car go fast in a straight line.  If your just against Drag racers. Better fix your site.

Perhaps you would think drag racing requires skill if you drove a car with more than 100lb/ft of torque and had to worry about wheel spin and making a good launch, no to mention reacion times.  Road course racing by all means requires more skill but all it takes is money to make a car perform well there too.

I own a 95'Civic hatch back, Which I Auto-Cross.  With a car a bought for $5k, and put about $5k into it. So, that a $10k investment.

I continually Beat, BMW 3 series, Vetts, Mustangs, Subaru's or anything else brings out.  Which cost at minimum, 25-30k.  Who got ripped of on that Deal?

A basic rule the import crowd needs to learn, if you start cheaper you will end cheaper, why else would you cars be such a "deal"?, its not because they are just that good for tuning.  Also one of my main points in making this site you can make anything go fast with proper funds (in this case no to much money) example:  www.turbovan.net

You might also Check out Speedvision Touring Championship.  The Guy who Won at Laguna Seca, A Rodger Foo.  Was driving, you guessed it. A Civic Hatchback. He beat, BMW's, Audi's, Acura's, Volks Wagon Golf's, Porsh. and the Cavaliar that entered. Strange, Only 1 Amercain made Pile O'crap entered.. the competion.

You obviously, don't know crap on Cars/engineering. What american made car gives you, 100hp/per liter Naturally Aspirated?  NONE. Opps... Vtec is no Myth,   Your "old Fashioned" american Engines? Compared any Jap. or European Eng.?  lol.. Get Real, the power to Weight Ratios Suck bad. The only few decent american made engines get the ratio's close by using FI.. (Forced Induction, ie, superchargers)

I must have laughed for half an hour after reading this paragraph, You tell me i dont know about tuning and then all you talk about is hp/L!!!  I got news for ya HP/L DOES NOTHING FOR PERFORMANCE!  In almost all of honda's I-4 vtec aplications the use of high revs and the most aggressive cam not comming on untill 6,000 rpms results in killing its low end performance.  So in some instances N/A and high revs can hurt area's of performance.  Use of forced induction typically provides for a full usable powerband.  With that said there is really no reason to brag that your car make 100hp/L N/A.

If you read 2 emails before this one some one pointed out that a Honda Prelude has a higher hp/weight ratio than a Z06 Corvette.  No one will argue that a Z06 will Kill a prelude.  This goes to show hp/weight isnt everything.  This is where many honda's show their short comings.  Perhaps if the the prelude had more than 150/lb of torque and didnt have axel hoping and torque steer from it being FWD it may fair a little better.

Ricers, do give the entire import scene a bad name.

Your SUV,  lol (reading your E mail Name.)  Powered by Japan,  what a fricking hypocrit.
Where do you think your getting 30% of your power? From Mitsubishi.  There's a waste of Steel, a 4x4 that can't offroad.  The Best AWD system? You put a Quatro Track system in there from Audi?? Or the Nissan system from the GTR?
A SUV, drag racing... now, that's a Joke, I wouldn't be picking on Japanese cars if I were you.

Did you even read the intro to my site I DONT DISLIKE ALL JAPANEESE CARS! or hondas for that matter.
The concept of a "Sport Truck" has been around since the 50's the idea of racing a compact car has been around since that horrible movie came out.

The AWD system of my truck is still reguraded to this day as one of the best FULL TIME AWD systems, the ones you mentioned are part time or there as you need it and are basically RWD.

Food for Thought, If Honda's and the Jap. Cars are such, "crap"  why are all the American Co.'s trying to copy them?  Ford, with the Focus, Couger. Dodge, The Neon. Chevy the Geo's.   All are now making want to be Honda's/Jap. cars.

Ok as a first year business student I am familiar with the concept of supply and demand.  Honda put some decent power in there compact cars to tryed and gain sales by making there cars more "fun to drive". (ex: civic si and Integra GSR)  They succeeded but the kids who bought these cars took it way to far and thus you have the "import scene".  No america didnt start it but US car compaines just want a piece of the green.

Anyways, Thank you for the Entertainment.
Oh no the pleasure was all mine.
