Ok dude, for one the guy who said a Prelude has 250 HP is stupid. A Prelude has 200 factory rating and 158 tourqe. I own a 1998 Prelude. And no i cant touch a Z06 i wouldnt dream of trying without major modifications. But those two cars shouldnt even be compared, and i know you didnt start it. But lets go by something we can compare it to say the Mustang GT which is about the same price. And i will outrun one all day long. I have done so on the street and the strip. At launch they pull about a half car lenght on me till vtec then i pull up right beside them in first gear when secound gear vtec kicks in its bye bye mustang. And a Integra Type R which is just a little bit more expensive than my car is a little faster than mine. So saying somthing to teh effect of Vtec is a myth or dosnt matter is pretty ignorant when my 2.2 liter can beat a 4.6liter with twice the cylinders. Oh and by the way please post this on your little email page, if u have teh balls to argue with me.

If you think you’re the first person to make up a bullshit track story you’re dead wrong.  Looking at ¼ mile times from consumer car magazines at www.car-stats.com, there are various models of preludes which run anywhere from 15.4 to 15.1.  A mustang GT however runs anywhere from 15.2 with an automatic transmission to 14.0 flat.  Given these times it would be possible for your prelude (assuming it was the fastest model) to edge out an automatic mustang, which still makes your story a total fraud because winning by .1 of a second is far from blowing the opposition away.

Now I’ve been to the strip before and I know its uncommon for everyday people to post the same ¼ mile times that the consumer magazines with professional drivers get.  This is typically because of two reasons.  One: The person behind the wheel can’t drive; they have bad RT’s, miss shifts, or short shift ect.  The second reason is because they can’t make a good launch due to poor traction and ultimately raise their ET. 

So you either beat a poorly driven mustang, which by no means indicates that all preludes can beat all mustang GTs.  Second, you edged out a mustang and blew it out of proportion, or finally you’re a liar like nearly everyone else that has an unrealistic track story.  With any of these outcomes no one is impressed.

“So saying somthing to teh effect of Vtec is a myth or dosnt matter is pretty ignorant”.  Here we have a classic case of someone blowing vtec out of proportion, and we all know how the import community likes to blow things out of proportion.  This inflated claim seems to be caused by this individual being uneducated on the workings of this Variable valve timing system.  So my advice to you is to read my vtec section and if that’s beyond your comprehension I suggest you keep your mouth shut to avoid embarrassing yourself further.  Keeping the explanation brief, the Vtec variable valve timing system opens the valves fully at higher rpm’s increasing high rpm torque and ultimately increasing high rpm horsepower, THERE’S NOTHING ELSE TO IT.  Your so called “effect[s] of Vtec” only take place in your head.

You have so many misconceptions about how V-tec works, also, I find it hilarious that the most ryced out car on your "new pictures" page was a Neon, and how one car that was completely stock aside from the spoiler that was the same as the stock one only a bit higher.

I have misconceptions about vtec because you said so?  Damn you sure told me.  Atleast cite an example.  Why cant a Neon be riced out?  If both a neon and a civic have huge wings and exhaust tips then whats difference?

I hate rycers just as much as anybody else, particularly since they give true Import racers a bad name.

But your site is no less ignorant and just as lacking in the knowledge department as the vast majority of rycer's out there. I appreciate the effort (the sooner rycers are eliminated, the sooner I'll not be given a bad name, I hate always explaining that my '90 Civic SI is completely stock aside from the necessary modifications to use it as a rally car regionally), but try to not be so ignorant about it, it only makes you look more the fool.

You didnt prove anything on my site to be incorrect, you just gave a bunch of unsupported claims and opinions.  So where do you of all people get off call me ignorant or foolish?
