Fast Food Places

You walk into a fast food place and nobody talks to strangers. You go into small local restaurants and roadhouses and bars and grills and everybody talks.
I'm having pecan waffles and the people talk from table to table. I'm hearing stories about who died and who has cancer everywhere I go, but on the lighter side, people always smile, tell jokes, and laugh, too.
