The Brackbog

A few miles south of Foggyton lies what the commoners call "The Brackbog" or "Bog" for short. Located at the furthest southern waters of the Sea of Horindal, the Brackbog is a vast network of shallows, lowlands, bogs, pools, and ponds. A road south out of Foggyton around the southern edge of the swamp eventually leads to the village of Pedon. South of the Brackbog is the Vast Forest. The Brackbog is mostly uncharted and unexplored, which adds to its both dark and mysterious nature. It is from these dark swamps that Foggyton, in its early beginnings, was attacked by a vicious army of "frogmen". There are many nights where the inhabitants of Foggyton hear strange non-human calls echo out of the swamp's murky darkness.
