| Several days later Dak was sitting beside the bed when Eymr began to move. He was about to run out of the room when Eymr stopped moving and continued with a soft breathing. Just then the gray tipped man walked in with a bowl of water. "Here, thought that you might be thirsty,” said the man as he set the water on the floor by the minidragon. "Thank you, Moz" said Dak as he started to drink, when he finished he looked up at Eymr and saw his hand twitch. "Moz, his hand is twitching,” said Dak as he leapt onto the bed, he moved near Eymr chest and waited. "Dak I don't think that it's a good idea to be that close" said Moz as he walked to the doorway. "Why?" asked Dak as a ghost like image of Eymr's dragon rose up and grabbed Dak by his neck. The dragon roared and threw Dak across the room before it laid back down and disappeared. "That's why,” said Moz as he helped the minidragon to his feet. "Next time I see that dragon I'm gona..." started Dak but Moz cut in. "Next time you see that dragon he could kill you, the reason it attacked is because Eymr's almost healed. I'd say another hour and he will awake,” said Moz. Dak nodded and curled up into a ball like shape and fell asleep, he awakened to the sounds of mumbling. He looked up over the bed to see that Eymr had opened his eyes; Dak looked around and saw that Moz wasn't there. Dak quickly skidded out of the room and saw that Moz wasn't in the hall; he then remembered what he said to do if he wasn't there. "Anything, anything" shouted Dak as loud as he could as he ran up and down the hall, he was answered by a door opening and slamming shut. He ran back to the room and saw Moz turned a corned and was soon in the same hall as the room, he quickly made it to the room and they both entered. When they saw Eymr he was fully dressed and was playing with a sword that used to be on a wall. "How did you get up so fast? Aren't you wondering where you are?" asked Dak. "The first answer is Reysh helped me and second no,” answered Eymr as he continued to practice with the sword. "Who's Reysh and why aren't you wondering where you are?" asked Dak. "Reysh is the black dragon that you saw and when I went unconscious Reysh made it so I could hear and see what was going on but he wouldn't let me wake up till now for my energy level was almost gone" said Eymr as he started to do fancy moves with the sword. "Let me guess, you also know who I am" said Moz. "I've never seen you before so I'm not sure who you are" replied Eymr. "Well I'm Moz, I brought you here but it seems that you would of recovered just the same if you stayed in that spot" said Moz. Eymr nodded and flipped backward to land on the wall, he set the sword down and flipped back onto the floor. "If you don't mind do you think that I could talk to Reysh if you can do that?" asked Moz. "I'll get but try not to get him to angry, he only likes to be called when he has to fight" said Eymr as he glowed black. Soon there was a man sized black dragon standing where Eymr was. "Who as asked me to show myself?" asked Reysh "I did, I wanted to ask you a few questions" the dragon nodded and he continued. "I was wondering how you and Eymr came to share the same body?" asked Moz. "Well I was in the dead dragons plain when I felt myself being pulled and I blacked out, then when the sphinx attacked I awakened and found myself in my body. After the sphinx when I turned into Eymr and he was out we talked and I found that I was in his body,” said Reysh. "So you don't know how you came to his body,” said Moz as the dragon shook his head. "Ok now for my second question, how was Eymr fight so well with that sword and put it up?" asked Moz. "From what I what I learned, he received a fighting ability. He told me about it in our chat and he mentioned that he would get better with each fight, so to pass the time we would have small fights and it seemed the more we fought the better we both got" answered Reysh. "So you don't know how you came to his body,” said Moz as the dragon shook his head. "Ok now for my second question, how was Eymr fight so well with that sword and put it up?" asked Moz. "That's all the questions that I need to ask,” said Moz as Reysh nodded and glowed black and there stood Eymr. "Did you find out all the info that you need?" asked Eymr. "I found enough info, now I need to look at something in the library. Your welcome to join me if you wish" said Moz as he left the room. Eymr and Dak followed behind him; soon they came to the end of the hall and watched him open to large doors. They walked in to the very large room. "If your wondering, this is the largest room here" said Moz as he walked to a bookshelf. "Why are there faeries for light instead of candles?" asked Dak as he looked at a faerie hovering. "I cherish my books very much so I don't trust candles in here because they might start a fire even though this room is highly covered in protection magic,” said Moz as he pulled out a book from the shelf. "Oh, should I leave?" asked Dak as Eymr began to skim the titles of books on a shelf near him. "No, you may stay. I can keep an eye on you and you're a living thing so you know not to spit fire" said Moz as he stopped at a certain page. "What did you find?" asked Eymr as he made his way to Moz as Dak walked with him. "Well this is a picture of a dragon-girl and I was wondering if you could find her for me" said Moz as he showed them the picture in the book. The girl has thin wings but looked like she could fly and then she had a strong dragon tail. "So you need us to find her for you?" asked Dak. "Yes, if you need her picture..." started Moz as he ripped the page out of the book, but then the same page appeared in the book while he held the same page. "I've put repair spells on them" said Moz as he handed them the page. "Thanks, we'll find her right away" said Eymr as he folded the paper and slipped it into his boot. "By the way, since I'm better how would we make our way out of here?" asked Eymr. "You may use the emergency exit, located to your right. It's the portrait, just lift it up and slide in" said Moz as Eymr lift the picture up and saw a slippery tunnel. "You go first,” said Dak as Eymr slipped in feet first and Dak slipped in behind him headfirst. In the tunnel they began to go faster and Reysh decided that he should show him self. Eymr glowed black and then there was Reysh, it was a smart thing to do for the tunnel was leading them into a pit with sharp spikes at the bottom. When Reysh saw the spikes from the tunnel he jabbed his hands and feet into the walls, but Dak slid under him and was fallings to the spikes. Dak was to scared to fly so Reysh pulled out one of his hands and grabbed Dak in mid air, the tunnel was to slippery for Dak to climb up so he grabbed onto Reysh's tail while he climbed up the tunnel. When he came to the back portrait he stopped and listened, he heard Moz talking with another person. "Did you do what you were told?" asked the other voice. "Yes, the dragon Reysh is no longer a problem. I even got rid of a minidragon,” replied Moz. "Fool, we could of used that one as a pet or target practice but no matter. At least now Reysh can't ruin our plans like he did a thousand years ago. Did you forget that I was that old?" asked the voice as Reysh started to remember what happened a thousand years ago. "Well you never quite told me that you were that old, and you keep saying that your plan was a thousand years ago but what happened?" asked Moz. "Well we were about to slay the dragon empire and have their power to rule the world. The last dragon we had to kill was the dragon of power, had we know that Reysh wasn't the dragon of power we would of used him in our reign. But when we slew him a white dragon appeared from the shadows with the orb of power in it's claws, as Reysh began to disappear the white dragon threw the orb at him and it went to the dragon's afterworld plain with Reysh. We quickly slew the white and realized that we could never get the orb of power back, I've waited a thousand years for him to come back and now he has. Take me to the pit so I can get the dragon's orb" said the voice as Reysh heard footsteps leaving. |
