Suddenly time froze, Cydel groaned as he sat up clutching his head. "Cydel your human form is dead, you must revert to your real form or your mission will be a failure,” said a heavenly voice. Cydel groaned and nodded, just then soft white wings burst from his back. They wrapped around him as he stood up, when they unfolded Cydel was healed and dressed in long gold and white clothes. His wingtips reached the ground as he walked toward Kyle, He picked him and a white glow covered them both. The imprints around Kyle's neck disappeared and the red color returned to his scales around his face, Kyle breathed in a deep breath and began to panic. Cydel smiled softly and set him on the ground before he took a step back; Kyle shook his head and stood up. "Who are you?" asked Kyle. "I'm Cydel, in my real form. I bet you're thinking I'm an angel or something but I'm not, I'm only an arch mage. A cross between a mage and an archangel" said Cydel as he looked at Balsipher. "I need to do this quickly, for I'm not sure how long Balsipher can stay froze with time" said Cydel as his hands grew a bright white. "Wait, what are you going to do?" asked Kyle as he started to slowly back away. "Don't worry, it's nothing that will harm you" said Cydel as he shot white blasts at Kyle, it hit him and surrounded him in a white orb. Kyle quickly shut his eyes and then cracked one open, suddenly he opened them both wide. He rubbed his eyes to make sure that he was seeing was true, there stood father and brother. "Dad look, its Kyle" shouted Kenny as he raced toward his brother, he collided with Kyle sending him to the ground. "Come on, the hero of good should not be laying on the ground" said Sulfur he held put his hand, Kyle took it and was pulled up off the ground. Once Kyle was up he took a long glance at his father and brother, his little brother had wings about half his size and a yellow halo. All his father had was a golden halo. "Dad, where are your wings?" asked Kyle. "They wont give them to be, it was either I go to hell and be the strongest thing there or go here and get a halo and be with your brother,” answered Sulfur. "Kyle, I'm sorry but the time with your family is up. Later, you can come back and talk with them but for now they will watch you from here" said Cydel as he walked up to Kyle. Kyle nodded and so did Cydel, just then he gave Kyle a soft push. Kyle quickly shut his eyes then opened them to find that he was back on earth but not in the form that he left in. He found that he was a human in his own body but he felt a little different. "Why am I me again?" asked Kyle. "Well you're not exactly yourself, you have a halo and white wings" said Cydel as he gently pulled one of the wings open. "But why do I have a halo and wings?" asked Kyle. "Well whenever a human goes to heaven but did not die, they return like you are now in their original form but with a halo and wings,” answered Cydel. Suddenly Balsipher's form began to slowly blur, a horrified expression crossed Cydel's face. "No, she wasn't supposed to break out now. I'll have to do this quick,” said Cydel as he glowed a bright red. "I give my power willingly,” said Cydel as the red glow left Cydel and appeared on Kyle. When it left, Cydel was kneeling on the ground breathing heavily. "Cydel, are you all right?" asked Kyle as he knelt down next to Cydel. "I'm fine, but you must use the power that I gave to you to stop Balsipher" said Cydel as he glowed blue and disappeared. "Ah, he must have done it when we glowed red. But first I think I should get the Queen Eye away from Balsipher" said Kyle as he ran over to the blurring figure and grabbed the stone before he began to run like hell. Suddenly Balsipher broke free from the time freeze and so did time, she gave a roar once she found that the Queen Eye was gone. "Dammit, where the hell did it go?” shouted Balsipher as she began to search for it. "Wait I know an easier way" said Balsipher as the black in her eyes changed to red. She was now seeing in heat vision, she walked around till she saw a form running away in the tunnel. "Here I come,” said Balsipher as she switched back to her regular eyesight; the red in her eyes was now replaced with black. Balsipher flared her wings before she set them back down; she then broke into a slow run passing through all the objects in her way. When she reached the tunnel she flared her wings again, she took a step back and spat out several tunnel sized fireballs. Once they were all in she slipped into her shadow form and slithered into another shadow and arrived in the library, she stepped out and leapt onto the ceiling and stood up. She wanted to kill the boy if the fireballs did not. Kyle was running through the tunnel when he heard the sound of fire , he then saw a large fireball racing toward him. He screamed and began to run faster, suddenly he saw a crack in the wall. He raced toward it and squeezed in as far as the crack would let him. Several fireballs raced past him and crashed through the library, Kyle tried to leave the crack but he found that he was stuck. He began to fidget when Balsipher flew past him; he remained still so as not to call the dragon back. When he heard her throwing metal around, he found that he was not longer stuck. He slipped out of the crack to come face to face with Balsipher. "But how, I heard you in there" said Kyle as he pointed at the laboratory. Balsipher answered by opening her mouth and made the same sound that he heard. "Time for you to die little boy" said Balsipher as she snatched him up by his neck; his hands went to her's trying to lessen her grip. She laughed and squeezed harder, suddenly his wings brushed by her hand and she screamed in pain. She threw him as hard as she could, she looked at her hand to see that it was silver in her blood. She growled as her wounds instantly healed, she would have to burn the wings before she could touch him. Kyle saw the ground looming toward him; he opened his wings and flew upward. He began to fly to the top of the laboratory when he saw a large hole in the ceiling; he smiled for he had found his way out. He flew through it and entered the sunshine; he began to fly for the clouds for that would be the only place he could hide. He found that his wings were amazingly fast; he had reached a cloud in less time than he expected. He flew into the cloud and found that he could touch it without sinking; he flew into the center and stopped. He poked his head out through the bottom and saw Balsipher crash through the hole, she glanced around before she launched into the air and disappeared. |
